Ahahahah sorry I have to laugh, do you take your car to the mechanic when a lightbulb burns out?

Yes it's the fuse, check your owners manual for the location, there should be spares in the box, just put a spare in and throw the burnt one out.

Unplug the negative battery terminal and let it sit for 15 mins. That will re-flash the computer. If the check engine light goes off then its ok. If it stays on take it up to a auto zone and have them check it out. Seriously though take those warnings with a grain of sand. Some people think those lights are set to turn on at set intervals so you take it into the dealership for work to be done to it. My 2005 mustang light has been on since 40k miles. I'm 100k now with NO issues.

Get out the owners manual and check out which fuse is for the cigarette lighter. Good luck.

yes check your fuses, some cell phone chargers have been known to cause the fuse to blow. Look in owners manual for the fuse for the cigarette lighter.

Buy a zippo and solve all your worries. No seriously. It sounds like either a blown fuse or a short behind the actual heater column for the lighter.
