Ok, I like to talk to my friends on Myspace and my brother throws a big fit! He's 16 and has some problems. He's like " Sara, when r u going to be off?" and keeps bothering me! My mom goes with what he says and he's on the computer more than me! I want my own computer. What do I do? Iam getting really sick of it!

i know at your age friends may mean the world to you and that's all you care about now. But after school is over you will probably not speak to any of them ever again, but family will always be there. So, be nice to your little brother he looks up to you and most of all respect your mother and do as she says. If a computer is really that important to you... do as another person said save your money for one. Tell your mom what you are wanting to do and maybe she will let you do things around the house to earn money since your not old enough to work and you can buy your own. Good luck and be a good girl.

I had the same problem here. People fighting over the computer. Figured out a time slot for each person. If they prefer to be doing something else at the time, they lose their turn. Ask your parents if they can give you a set time each day or allow you to buy your own. Nobody here could afford their own and didn't argue about their time slot. Just try to act mature in your conversation and bring up valid points for why you think this should be done.

Maybe you should talk to your parents about the unfair computer time he gets and negotiate a proper time limit. That way you get your time and he gets his. If you're not willing to share, try babysitting or something. You might even have to wait a year or two before you can start saving up for your own computer.

Computers are not that expensive work over the summer and save up for one and get your own.

Make up a schedule. Exactly so many minutes for you, the same amount of minutes for him. Both of you need to abide by the schedule.

Yes, save up your money and get your own.
