How do I get my voice onto the computer so others can hear it?

I wanna get my voice recorded and let other people hear it onto the computer but I don't know how..can you use an i-pod? Or do you have to do it like they do on you-tube with a camera?

You can do it with the microphone that probably came with your computer and Sound Recorder which comes with Windows - you will find it under Start / All Programs / Accessories /
Microphone plugs into jack on the sound card access on the back (or sometimes front) of your computer.
