How do I set up a macro in excel?

I have a series of numbers, that need to be matched up with another spreadsheet? Usually there is a macro department within the accounting department.

If it was just your spreadsheet I could walk you through it. You need to have both spreadsheets open when you build the macro. I believe the default is that you can't do macros on other peoples spreadsheets unless macro security is set to low. You should first put both spreadsheets on a shared drive in a common directory. Are you following my drift?
