If it's "that time of the month it may last a while until your hormones balance out. It it's not then I suggest making sure you exercise, get plenty of sun, eat healthily, consume some chocolate. All of those things produce serotonin and other good things that your brain needs to feel good. I say cry it out, talk to a friend if you have one that you can confide it, and try to figure out why you're sad. If you try these things and they don't help maybe you can see your doctor about getting on an anti-depressant. But try that as a last resort.

It may not have been anything that happened today, yesterday or last month that's got you depressed or stressed. What you can do is start praying and let it out. Even if you're not religious just knowing that there is a higher being that can take on our problems with ease is empowering. I start by saying Hello Lord and go from there.

I you feel up to speak to your parents about this problem. There could be many reason's. At a young age you go through a lot of changes. Not only in your body but with school and friends too. Good luck Mike

I get that on the day before my period, but now that I am almost 50 it happens at odd times too. I know that it is hormones.
It could be that or you could be depressed or you may have grief that is unresolved. Hard to tell from here.

Something did happen, not now but in the past, and your emotion is coming out. To aid in this process use EFT. Medications will only numb you so you cannot feel anything at all.

Sweetheart, it's called depression....I mean, look at the name you're using "Lonely Girl"....give yourself a break and speak with your doctor....get yourself on some anti-depressants....you deserve to be happy. Force yourself to smile when you feel the tears coming on...it's hard to be upset when you have your smile muscles at work. Good luck to you!

Me too...some people say crying is good for you. It helps cleanse you. I didn't cry for years, but once the flood gates opened...It has not stopped!!!

Are you on your period, or close to being on it? That can really play a big role on emotions!
