It is the conception of a child between two people who should no longer be able to conceive children. What is the Immaculate Conception? It is an even more incredible miracle. Mary, the special woman who is going to give birth to Jesus, is conceived in Her mother’s womb without the stain of Original Sin.
How do we inherit Original Sin — the sin of Adam and Eve who disobeyed the Lord? We get it through our parents’ DNA! It's in our blood! And Original Sin is nothing more than the disobedient nature of mankind (Romans 5:19). We have been given free will and we can choose to do things we know God does not like or want us to do.
The Scriptures — the consistent original Scriptures — are very clear as to what God’s Strength said to Mary: “HAIL, FULL OF GRACE, THE LORD IS WITH THEE!”
W e ARE NOT full of God’s grace. We are sinners. But if you were full of God’s grace, what does that mean? Does that mean you have sin in you? Continue

To be full of God’s grace, is it even possible for you to have sin in you?
If we were all full of God’s grace, would the world be in the shape its in? In fact, we don’t have all of God’s grace specifically because of ORIGINAL SIN. It is impossible for us to be full of grace, because we carry the stain of Adam’s rebellion in us.
With Mary, God granted — out of His own good pleasure — all of His grace to Mary.
Now why would He do this? In fact, who else in the Bible, besides Mary, was ever declared to be full of God’s grace? The answer: no one! Only Mary was declared “full of grace.”
So we need to look at the Old Covenant to understand why the Lord HAD to do this to Mary!
Do you remember the Ark of the Covenant? What was in the Ark? The 10 Commandments. Are not the 10 Commandments the Word of the Lord? What happened to people who in sinfulness touched the Ark of the Covenant with the Word of God in it? They died!

Now it is impossible to be anything but reasonable in reviewing this fact and applying it to the New Covenant. Is Jesus the Word of God? Is Jesus sinless and holy? Who is going to carry Jesus in Her womb?
If Mary has sin in Her, what will happen when God infuses His Holy Spirit in Her and the Word of God takes residence in Her womb? Wouldn’t She be consumed like those who touched the Ark of the Covenant?
Since Mary is going to carry the Word of God within Her for nine months as the New Ark of the Covenant, She CANNOT have sin within Her or She will be consumed by the Holy Spirit!
In addition, in order for Jesus NOT to inherit Original Sin, God stopped this generational process in Mary so that the Blood Jesus receives from Her is PURE and untainted with sin.

Pastor Billy says: sadly much of Protestantism has been taught to fear, hate, denigrate Mary our mother. Absolutely she is the Immaculate Conception she appeared to St. Bernadette at Lourdes and announced as such. The first proto-evangelical news was in Genesis when we learn Mary (who is the woman with the woman's seed) has eternal enmity with Satan. For this to be and the bible to be true Mary would never have sinned if Mary had sinned ever she would be on Satan's team.
For all the people who claim there is nothing in the bible that explains Mary was without sin I saw there is nothing in the bible that explains Mary was with sin. Many times bible verse is taken out of context to explain something in this case often is used the verse "all have sinned" yet where does St. Paul first quote this verse from? Well he quotes from the Old Testament Psalms where we read "all have sinned" are those who turn from God , not all people of all time everywhere. In this context I once again ask where do we find in scripture a description of Mary sinning against God? answer nowhere because it does not exist.
Next time a less biblical educated person asks you this question ask them if they've got a Strong's Protestant Concordance and tell them to look up "Hail, full of grace" you discover the verse of Luke1 where Mary is being addressed by the angel Gabriel. And so ends the denials of Mary bashers.
Pray for us our Mother

In Genesis 3:15 the 'Seed of the Woman' will defeat the serpent & death curse. The sin nature is passed on through the dad, because Adam the man is the one who decided to eat the fruit knowing God told him not to. The woman was tricked. The man rebeliously ate it. And the sin nature is the tendency to rebel against Gods Love & Truth & Word.
So, the Seed of the Woman would defeat the serpent & death penalty. Jesus is born of a virgin, conceived of the Holy Spirit. Jesus didn't inherit the sin nature from the dad since He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. God is the Father. Jesus was also wholy human being born of the Woman.
Mary had a human mother & father. She was completely human. But her eggs didn't have the sin nature in them.
Yes, I also believe Mary is full of Grace & the LORD is with her.
There is no scripture throughout the bible propheciing Mary is born of a virgin. No where. I challenge you to find it. This was added just a few hundred years ago by a Priest who said God told him so. Only, there is nothing about it any where in the whole Holy Bible.

Yes, I do have an opinion, actually. But I applaud you for the courtesy of your question; you're asking because you honestly want to know and you don't understand what we believe. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this question, and I'm very glad for that. I'm just a 15-year-old girl, but you'd be suprised how many times people have antagonized me or accused me of stupidity for my beliefs (my mom, dad, brother, several classmates, even teachers). And yet my faith is strong. So here's what I think. Sure, there is a chance that what you say is true; she could have gotten pregnant the normal way. There's also a chance that there are a group of green aliens with twice our intelligence somewhere in another galaxy. You can't really prove or disprove either of those. I chose to believe that Jesus was born through virgin birth: I have a very strong faith, so that seems a hundred times more plausible than the green aliens story. Of course, even if she DID get pregnant the normal way, I'd still believe that she was holy and that Jesus is Lord. Why? I'd be happy to tell you. I have two horses- Minna and Melody. Minna is a nice horse, she's very sweet and we have a great bond. Melody is a blind mare- she was abused by her previous owner and had a door slammed on her face, shattering her eye nerves. But you know what? She's the horse that I trust most. She loves me, and I her, more than I've ever seen with any human. I'd trust her with my life- even my mother, who is very protective of me, agrees. Personally, I can't imagine anything more terrifying than galloping into darkness up a mountain with someone sitting on my back- you try closing your eyes and racing up a hill full of sticks, roots, stones, and ditches. Yet Melody does this for me, every day, because she trusts me. What was the point of my story? Blind faith is the strongest kind. You might not know exactly what's ahead, or the reasons behind something, but you have to cling to that belief anyway, because you trust the person who told it to you- God. Thanks for listening. I don't get a lot of chances to talk about my beliefs, because usually a family member just says I'm stupid for them. Once again, I give you my greatest thanks for being so respectful in your question.

WOW, Way too many questions at once!
I will try to answer the first one.
NO, Mary was not the immaculate conception.
The Child Jesus in her womb was the immaculate conception. Please read Luke 1: 26 to 66. A virgin Birth. Not the virgin giving birth.
You are mixing Mary and Joseph, younger people, Mary being about 16 with her Aunt Elizabeth, and the Uncle Zech-a-ri' ah That is found in Luke 1: 1-25 They were old and Barren when Elizabeth produced John the Baptizer, Jesus first cousin.
Now ,let me try to tackle Original sin.
Adam and Eve were perfect.
Adam and Eve sinned.
That put a permanent dent in the mold of perfect children that they should of given birth to.
What do I mean by a permanent dent?
Take a cake pan that is perfectly round. Every cake will have the perfect round shape.
Now, take a pan that is damaged, dented, like Adam and his sin is damaged.
Every cake from the damaged pan will reflect the dent in the imperfect pan for ever more. Like Man reflecting Adams sin, even though we are not at fault for Adams sin. we reflect it, because of our dented D.N.A.cake pan. O.K. I did two answerer's.
Marys origin and original sin. NEXT!!!
Oh, Yeah, Many great men in the Bible are imperfect and chose to server God faithfully. So no excuse to sin ,

Immaculate conception is the way that Jesus was conceived or begotten. With no earthly man as His father. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit of God.
If Mary were conceived immaculately, and without sin, she would have been begotten by God and not an earthly father which is not the case.
Mary called Jesus her savior therefore, she needed a perfect sacrifice to forgive her sin.
The one exception of one with the sin nature is Jesus. Jesus is the only human who can be the sin offering for us to take our place because He is without sin and He is God in the flesh. Mary is not God. She was human.
Yes, Mary was full of God's grace. All Christians are full of God's grace because we are forgiven sinners. We as Christians were born with natural sin and so was Mary. God tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Even Mary.

The seed was planted by God, it states back in Geniuses 1:15. The law was not in place at the time of Adam and Eve, they were not under the law but God cursed the Eve (the curse on woman is still infect today (Genes sis 3:16, woman shall bear pain in child birth) Sin means: to miss the mark. We are all sinners because we fall short of the law (10 commandments). God placed the law in front of them to show how disobedient they were. Before Jesus people had to bring a unblemished goat to the alter every year and sacrificed it in the temple. Today we are under a new covenant of Jesus, who by the shed of his blood cleansed us of all are sins; past, present and future, he did a lot for us. If you have no faith in Jesus, then you are still under the law. Jesus full filled the law and nailed it to the cross (Colossians 2:14) You are Saved by Grace! By your FAITH! Yes we are sinners (1 John 1: 8 - 10) but by the justification of faith (Romans 5:1) we are righteous through Jesus! There is no need to confess your sins, because by faith God remembers your sins no more (Hebrews 10:17). Do not think that you can go out and do what ever you wish (Romans 6: 1). If you fall short get back up and move on Do the will of God, learn his word, show your obedience and go out in the world and preach, heal and cast out demons through his power and your faith (Mark 16: 15 - 18) www.mylordmysavior.com
The 10 commandements are in the ark of the covenant but God siad to remember this ark no more (Jerimaha 3:16) The only people that were allowed to touch the Ark was the Levites who took care of the tabenacle, that was there inheritance from God.
We never want to bow down to Mary, she was only a vessle to bring Jesus into the world. Mary had no clue who Jesus was all about (Mathews). Jesus, denies his mother and his brother James as not doing the will of the Father (Mathews12: 46 - 50). They asked Jesus to worship the womb that you came out of and Jesus siad, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” (Luke 11: 27 - 28) how can Mary be a disciple if Jesus denies her as a spiritual follower to do the will of God?
We are saved by grace through Jesus. If you continue to live by the flesh then you under the law of Moses but if you live in the spirit then you are saved by grace. Jesus is Holy and rightgeous

No, The Virgin Mary wasn't the Immaculate Conception. She immaculatly concieved, upon accepting the task to carry Jesus, she then recieved God's grace, thereby forgiving her sin (and Original Sin) so that she may THEN be sinless and thus able to carry God within her. This is an exception in that she recieved grace before Jesus died to give the rest of us a chance to accept his grace. This is not because of her worthiness, but in the words of Pope Gregory the Great "It seemed good to God, that the blessed mother, would recieve the grace we would later recieve, so that she may then deliver our Lord sinlessly as a spotless lamb, so that we too may recieve his grace."

there is no Biblical evidence that Mary was born without sin. If she had been, then there would have been no need for Jesus. God's grace is available to all of us and we are all to be walking in His grace- not that we all do and that is why the world is in the state it is in.
Mary herself called Jesus her savior. It is also a major lie that Mary was a perpetual virgin. This exaltation of Mary to equal to or above God (and no matter how much it is denied- that is what this is) comes straight from the pagan worship of femal dieties like Diana, Ishtar, etc. Same flase diety just the names are changed.

Nope. What was inside her babybag was an immaculate (clean) conception. (fetus)
The term merely implies that God inspired the conception with a seed not of humankind, and impaired by genetic flaws.
