Sit down and talk with her tell her how you feel and if possible assist her with taking care of the kids. Or try to find someone to baby sit for a couple of hours (split the cost) and both go ur for a lunch or dinner atleast once a month.

My sister has been busy with family life since she first got pregnant. I still see her sometimes, though. Here's how: I ride shotgun. I visit for the weekend, get into the van (where she pretty much lives) and go where she goes for a couple days. I get to see what her daily life is like, and we get to talk while we are in the line at McDonald's waiting for the kids to come out of school, and after the littles go to bed, we have a pop or a beer and chat, then I sack out on her sofa. She lives out of state, so that's how I catch up with her.

Well, I can relate, if she has kids and you don't. That was me and my sister. You will drift apart a little, and then when you have your children, you will both become close again. It's not that she doesn't love you or anything like that, it's just that having a child is a busy job, and you and her have different roles right now. Don't worry, if it's anything like me and my sister, you both will be fine. Actually better than fine.
Good Luck.

My sister and I are like best friends. Although growing up we fought like crazy. She has 3 kids and shes married and we still make time to do things together. My suggestion is make time once a week to get together and go out to lunch or go to the mall, yard sales etc. Or rent a movie and invite her and your nephew over or see if its OK to go to her house. Alot of people have busy lives but sometimes you have to compromise and set time aside for eachother.

My twin sister got married in feb. We where very close. We still call eachother, send emails, visit eachother.
Everyone gets busy, but it doesnt hurt to keep in touch.
Visit your sister, help her out with your nephew.

i loved my sister more than anything. i was the one with kids and she didn't have any. i used to go to her house quite a bit when my boys were younger. we'd drink coffee and chat. my kids would just play as if they were at home or hang with us or do something with my brother in law in the yard. it helped to keep her and i close. we'd do things w/o the kids as well. shopping, lunch. typical girl stuff. give your sis a call early in the am. before the kids get up or in the pm when you know they've gone to bed. make a plan to meet for something. it's easy for her to get caught up in daily life and forget there is other things to do. take the initiative. who knows? maybe she's looking for that day out or just someone to vent to.i wish i could call my sis just one more time and gossip or have lunch.
