The word religion in itself has caused more bloodshed and pain than any other word known to man. Why does it still continue to this day?

There will always be religion. A philosopher once said that if God did not exist then man would have to create him. What he really meant is that most people as so weak and codependent that they could not exist without the belief that there was someone or something out there in control.

It's hard to say... we could say that without religion people would be moral-less, and people would be horrible... but on the other side less people would be attacking others for religious differences and there would be no war of religions.
Hard to say. Can't we all just believe what we believe and forget it? Ugh.

Evil men in the name of religion has caused more bloodshed and pain. True believer in Jesus are not doing these things. Beware of the false prophets who dresses in sheep clothing but inside are raving wolves.
Once again it is not religion it is evil men.

Much better off. Can you imagine Iran, Palestine, Kashmir, Chechniya, and of course Iraq without religious conflict? We can only hope.

The world would be great!
It is religion that caused many pain things.
That's why I chose Jesus Christ, not Christians who already making too many stumbling blocks.

Without religion? Well, we could steal, commit adultery, drink, do pretty much all the stuff we do anyways, but then we can do it without fear of the afterlife. WOOO!!!
