I dont know if anyone can answer your question about how "true" this is, unless god has a PC up there haha.
Kids are dying of hunger in Africa because of the control issues that those in power have. It always comes down to people undercutting other people to make themselves better. There are a lot of children, women, men, elderly dying of hunger here in the US, and a lot of people who are working...but still can't afford to pay their bills, why?
Because the big whigs at the top want to live up to a lifestyle that most people couldn't imagine. I think that the people who can afford to give money, and help save our country should do so, instead of wasting it, on things that don't really matter in the end.
I'm not saying that all of the heads of large corporations don't give money at all because many do- I just think that more of them should use what power and influence they have, to get together and save our poor and struggling, our schools, and our healthcare system.

No, God rested on the seventh day after creating a universe as a model for us to work six days and rest on the seventh. Believe me, He is quite active in the world, blame the starving African kids on the corrupt government that resides there, not on God (unless you want to go all the way back to Eden and blame Adam and Eve for disobeying and bringing sin into the world...) Much of the food those starving kids receive is from generous Christians giving tithes to relief organizations. And what are you doing to relieve their suffering, or anyone else's suffering for that matter, hmmm?!?!?

Hebrews 4:8-11
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also rest from their own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
God has rested. In fact, we don't even have to work as hard as we do. Habakkuk 2:12-14 says: "Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by injustice! Has not the LORD Almighty determined that the people's labor is only fuel for the fire, that the nations exhaust themselves for nothing? For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea."
A lot of what happens in the world comes from the same sort of ethic as why the tower of Babel was built in the Bible by Nimrod, a hunter in opposition to God, and his followers - they wanted to make a name for themselves by building works. This is reflected in the three legal fronts of organised crime I found on Wikipedia - building construction, trash hauling and gambling.
The way that Christians get their food and clothing, and it isn't an easy existence, necessarily, is by putting God's Kingdom first. Matthew 6:31-34 says that pagans chase food and clothes ("wild boar and skirt"?), but that Christians would receive it just because of putting God's Kingdom first. This is possibly because pagans live "in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry" according to 1 Peter 4:3, so they don't have much time left for organising their friendships so as to share the essentials of life around.
People have experienced such calamities in the past and are we any smarter today? That's not God's fault. Putting God's Kingdom first by preaching alleviates the anxieties that have to do with a dissipatory lifestyle. (Luke 21:34)

Children dying if Africa has nothing to do with God. It has everything to do with government. Corrupt govt doe not look after the people, only themselves. God has done everything He could do, he gave us laws, He sent His Son, He left us with the bible. The rest is left up to us; and it is us that is not doing a good job.

He has many times in human existence taken a hand in man's affairs. He has given us guide lines and told how he hates violence even tried to make a nation who turned against him..
Very shortly now he will take a big hand in man's affairs and destroy all false religion. Which is being used to corrupt the people it is not God's religion but Satan's.
Satan is using religion to make people feel justified to hurting and killing and torturing others.
Soon the governments realizing they cannot bring peace with these religious leaders they will turn on all religion.
The religious leaders will say I am a farmer and have nothing to do with religion.

Well, let's see. If everyone was a non-believer like you, there would be no compassion, and maybe he wanted you to feed them. The truth is you couldn't care less about anyone other than yourself, right? Each person is born into their own circumstances, poverty is terrible, so is being born into a false religion like Islam or Hinduism, but you have no excuse, do you? You live in the most Christian country on earth, and you reject Christ. I wonder who is really in the most danger.

No it is not true. There is no god so god did not create the universe. Christians spend tons of money trying to disprove science. Science spends zero dollars trying to disprove the bible. For one thing, they are too busy doing science. Do yourself a favor and take the god thing out of the equation.

Not hardly. He maintains the universe. The suffering in the world is because of sin. God didn't create it and doesn't endorse those who did.
In some countries people choose to pray to false Gods for their needs in which case God takes his hand off them and allows them to seek other gods. It is obvious from the results you mentioned that their God is incapable of taking care of them.

God says in the bible that we will always have the poor. There is nothing that anybody can do about this, this is God's control, they are cursed. Do you think that God is going to save everyone on this planet? God is going to squish billions of people, when Jesus comes back with a sword in his hand and he is going to be pissed off at us!
