Be yourself. Don't tell them God is the only way. Never preach, mention God only in passing as it relates to your life. Make no judgment on the religions of others.

If God so leads them they will ask you about Christianity. If not, enjoy their company in this life because you will not have it in the next life.

Struggling to Surrender: Some Impressions of an American Convert to Islam is a very personal account of one man's search for God and meaning in the midst of a culture that places no value on such a quest. Dr. Lang was brought up as a Catholic and educated in a Catholic school. However, one day he found that his religious beliefs could no longer provide satisfactory answers to his questions.

And so his quest began: reason, agnosticism, atheism, and, finally "coincidence" —a chance encounter with a Muslim student in one of his classes that eventually led to his conversion. As he soon found out, however, this was not the end of the matter, for now he had to fit in with his new community, its beliefs and traditions, and the Islamic worldview and lifestyle.

For American Muslims, most of whom come from a Judeo-Christian background and a mental framework that is almost totally alien to that of a traditional Muslim, this is no easy feat. How does one deal with demands for the blind acceptance of hadiths and accepted interpretations, the gulf between what the Qur'an says and the reality of Muslim life, the "status" of women, the presence of religion in every sphere of one's life, cultural conflicts, and many other issues? Ever since his conversion, Dr. Lang has struggled to answer these questions for himself. At the request of numerous Muslim acquaintances, he decided to write about his experiences so that other American and western-educated Muslims could benefit from his insights.

Maybe you can't. The word tells us three times then kick the dust from your heel.

The best thing is just to live a Christian life, let him know he doesn't have to curb his language in front of you. Don't judge him (he's not a Christian) Be his friend but don't join him in unchristian like activities.

If he is able to see the Christ in you , he will ask you questions. Don't try too hard , it will have the opposite effect.

He is in the world. never say you shouldn't do this or that. Of course he should. what else would you expect.

Just be a beacon of light and men (the chosen) will come to you.

you cant because if there was a way to prove the existence of god then all us athiest would have converted. just tell him what you believe and let him make his own choice. in the end its his right to believe what he wants.

I'll tell you as soon as I stop laughing

*one hour later*

Well, you can't. Unless you want to loose him as a friend. You can say to him "Hey, I know you're atheist, but I want to share my religion with you to see what you think". He may say "sure, tell me about it" or "No, I am happy being athiest". In his beliefs of athiesm, he is fine and happy and alive. Why screw that up for him?

Have a dinner party and invite both your friend and God. Wait and see which who all shows up. If your friend shows up then you know he exists and is truly your friend. If God shows up then you will know the same about him. If either of them fails to show and does not have a good excuse then you know that either they are not your frind or they do not exist.

When I saw this quetion I thought "ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME?, THIS IS A JOKE RIGHT?". No one would be that ignorant I thought, No one would think they could convert an atheist, No one would post that question here. Then I saw this was a serious question and I lost any shred of respect for humans that I had left. You're not going to convert your atheist friend, friends don't convert friends, TO ANYTHING.

Show him something resembling real proof that there is a God. Don't show him Bible verses, or rainbows, or flowers. Don't tell him what you "believe", and don't tell him that you can "feel" God or that God will "reveal himself" if he just opens his heart. Don't tell him that it would be obvious if he would just "look around".

By example. If you can convince them to be a Christian someone else could come along and convince them to be Muslum. Pray for them let them see what it means to be a Christian. Be there for them, but don't shove it down there throat.

An atheist can't see any evidence. They are basically saying that they have traveled every inch of the universe, observed everything (even on light spectrum's humans can't see) and definitively know that God does not exist. Strangely enough, whenever you ask them "Well is there anything you don't know", they respond without hesitation "Of course, I don't know everything". Sounds like dementia to me.
