I just came up with this off the top of my head. I'm not a very religious person. I've always thought that there was no hell only heaven no devil only god. I've always thought and always will that when you die you go to the gates and St Peter says you were an honest person and good to others so go in. ( If you weren't its like when you get in trouble in kindergarten go to the back of the line) I've always thought that maybe life was that waiting line into St peters gates Then my mind goes back to murderess and rapist (you know the biggest sins) They all die do they then get to go to heaven I’d like to think not I'd like to think they get sent to the back of the line over and over again. I do also believe in reincarnation but not like when I die I'm going to come back as a bird but like that you come back as a human and relive that life over again. Your probably saying to yourself well "if you believe in heaven then how can you believe in reincarnation" I believe that you go to heaven and god looks into his crystal ball (or whatever it is he watches us with) and says for example wow John Smith is going to start doing drugs when he turns 20 who could I send to make him quite hmmm I will try his this little girl named Sue she can be his baby sister that really looks up to him. I’m not saying that god has the power to stop us from doing all evil things and when a person commits murder I don’t think that god sends them to do it I think that god tries to send us people in our lives to help prevent us from doing harm to ourselves or others. We all teach each other and god tries his best to pick the right person to help us out. I do have a question though where I was 16 I became pregnant. Some people told me that I committed a sin b/c I wasn’t married. I would tell them I don’t see it as that I see it as god saying here is a gift to put you on the right path in life before you drift off too far. I would tell them I thank god not only for my daughter but for the chance that he gave me. Then they would say but a sin is a sin they are all the same. I don’t understand how they are all the same I mean I created a life I didn’t hurt anyone. I’m 21 now and sometimes I still think about those people that said that I mean really I still don’t see their point.

First off, if a person comes to you and claims to be a Christian but is judging you, they are NOT a Christian. They can go to church, they can talk the talk, but they are NOT following the word. A true Christian is to love, support and NEVER JUDGE. Only God is the judge and it pi$$es Him off when His children judge their brothers and sisters. You are right on the mark, kiddo. God told us to beware of those who come in His name...the devil does that...he lies to and manipulates people into saying and doing hurtful things. And Christians are his first target because he wants to show God just how many of His children that he can steal away from Him. The devils fools will make you doubt Father and everything Father says. Be dilligent, stay on the right path. You are doing excellently right now, IMMHO. Good luck and God Bless.

It sounds like you get your ideas of heaven from TV. Have you ever read the Bible? I don't want that to sound rude, I am simply asking.
About your child out of wedlock. I would say that your action was wrong, but that yes, God can work things out to be blessings. I think God had different plans for your life, but a poor choice led you down path B, which may work out in the end, but was not the best. You probably have had a harder time raising a child alone(I am assuming you are a single parent) and you probably didn't get to finish college or possibly even high school in order to work and support a kid. God wants us to be happy, His rules are for our best interest, they are not arbitrary commands. Your best bet now is to simply seek His will for your life, and go where He leads. You will find your life more joyful if you walk in His ways.

I'm not sure of the exact question here, but your story certainly caught my interest.
I have to say that I believe in a loving God. One who knows that because he gave us 'free will', we can and WILL make mistakes (little and HUGE---murder,...). He also knows that He sent His Son to give us ONE final chance to follow Him, His 'rules', and to be with Him in the End (Heaven, Paradise, The New Earth,...). He knows that we are all 'born of sin' (inherited from Adam & Eve) and that we are going to live our lives, make mistakes, and then hopefully feel remorseful (repent, ask for forgiveness), and that hopefully we will hear/read/learn about Jesus and believe in Him and believe that He truly was sent by God and died for our sins/for us. He gave us that. Simple. He knows we will make mistakes and he hopes we will believe in Jesus ENOUGH to feel remorse, ask for forgiveness, AND (this is the most important part to me) AND to NEVER do it again. I don't believe that believing in Jesus is a 'free pass' to sin. I believe that when you DO believe in Jesus, God, and the Bible and that you do read the Bible (for yourself, not just what OTHER people tell you) that you WILL try to do better...the best you possibly can, because you WANT to please Him, take care of yourself, and set a good example for everyone around you (believers or not).
O.k., so as for your final statements regarding yourself, your pregnancy, and your daughter...I have this: Mary wasn't married when she had Jesus. He was a GIFT from God himself. AS IS EVERY CHILD. I believe He wants us to be committed to a partner, 'married', loyal,...so that as a couple they are strong, as a couple with children then they can be strong. Because, as you know, it is hard to be a single parent. (Even Mary had Joseph.) BUT, NOT being married and having a child....well, sometimes that happens. And the child is a gift, a lesson, to you, to everyone around them. If these people were TRUE christians, they would have never said such things to you. That isn't what God would want. How is trying to make you feel bad and calling you names (sinner) being a decent christian? It's not. They are the kind of people that give christians a bad name. If anything, they should be extending their hands to you. Offering any help that they can give. AND being there for you and your child...to guide you. THAT'S a good christian.
YOU are doing fine! You are living your life, you have and will make mistakes...BUT your daughter is certainly NOT one of them! YOU are a wonderful person...and God knew she was exactly what you needed...and that SHE was getting the perfect mother for her. Take care. Don't let ignorant people get you down----there are too many of them out there! God Bless!

I think it's great that you're asking questions about the meaning of life, God, the here after. It shows you're a person that God is bringing along to a knowledge of Himself. See you in heaven.

We are all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God. No one is exempted fromt his statement. It doesn't matter how big or small a sin might be, but a sin is still a sin unless we are forgiven. There's no one on earth who ever lived and does not sin. The penalty for sin is death. But thanks be to God , God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to ransom us for the penalty of our sins. Anyone who believes on Him shall never perish but will have everlasting life. Once you surrender your life to God by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ to be your personal savior & Lord, your sins are forgiven and you are now a child of God which means that upon physical death, a believer will go to heaven when he or she dies.
Religion does not save us from the depths of hell. Only Jesus has the power to forgive sins. Only Jesus can save us from going to the pit of hell.
I hope this video can make you see the difference..

I'm happy for you that you have found your answers in life. It sounds like you are a wonderful mother raising a wonderful daughter. I have no idea about the afterlife or reincarnation, but your theories sound just as valid as any others I've heard.

Romans 10: 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Acts 2: 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8,9
