It's saying that Jesus truly is God. Who else but God has the right to judge? It's saying we need to give Jesus the respect he deserves and hold him in a place of awe. Anyone who doesn't is dissing God. It's saying other religions are false, for they do not hold Jesus as God.

It simply means they wont be saved if they dont believe in jesus, which is unfair to other religion. In fairness, other religions likeislam in their qur'an have the same context only more blatantly declared as "...none believers especially the Jews and Christians...". ( check the book)
Ken, the one who wrote this is actually narrating what he thought was his understanding to what is and has happened to jesus during that time. and during that time people are not as smart and analitical as we all are now.
The bible is the greatest book ever written. There is no doubt about that but we also have to understand that whatever is written in the bible comes from the narration, comprehension, and belief of the author (mark, john, mathew, luke, etc.) and each of us has a difference manner of perception, comprehension, understanding and acceptance etc. especially in matters we dont fully understand. We werent even there when all the bible stories happened.
Even the news these days are not that reliable and yet people still believe what they want to believe.
I dont mean "to-see-is-to-believe." My point is, im sure God loves all of us and he will be able to understand, accept, and judge us not based on what religion you came from, or who you believe will give you salvation. It will be about what good you have done to your neighbor whether they be enemy or friend. All holy book teaches that, the problem is: people are too proud and conceited to respect other's beliefs and opinions.
The main purpose of our life is to seek God. what good is this if we dictate and get dictated by our sects. What's the meaning of believing in God when the God you believe in will not save good and worthy people for the simple reason that they dont or did not honor, acknowledge, believe in ...who?... Jesus? Muhammad? Buddha? etc..
It should also be known that a lot of scriptures/texts were omitted by the vatican from the original compilation of the bible. The same thing also happened to the qur'an (please people, check history before you say its not true). Actually, they burned scriptures that does not co-inside with their plans or with the way they want to project and run the religion.
As omitting texts was done so is the addition of texts that would promote and motivate people to take the religion. and so they added the verses that says none believers will not be saved, etc.etc.
People should be warned and enlightened that religions like these are promoting oppression and bigotry and injustice and sins to humanity and deforming the meaning and essence of the very existence of God.

No. The followers of His purely wrote that they observed Him after He were crucified, killed and buried. They have been so surprised that it replaced their lives. you have asked did the Jews and Romans artwork at the same time to create a falsehood - isn't what the historians and archaeologists have stumbled on, from now on than the Nazi Germans would have been pronounced to have labored with the Slavs. The Romans occupied the Israel land on the time. The Lord Jesus prophesied that the Jewish temple could be destroyed and the human beings of Israel scattered in the process the international. He additionally prophesied He could in easy terms return as quickly as the Jews had back to the land and then universal Him as their saviour. the 1st portion of His prophecy has been fulfilled. He became no pagan as He did no longer carry forth approximately international myths and beings that do no longer exist yet some kingdom that's from Heaven, which absolutely everyone who observed Him could have a proportion in. He became claimed to be Divine, via fact who else can upward thrust from the lifeless and foretell the destiny different than God?

first of all Jesus Christ's word is always true and i never doubt it for a minute
what it means for other religions is very clear in that passage
not only other religions but those who do not believe in him.
one thing i love about the word of God is it does not need to be added to or subtracted from, you just have to take it the way it is; meaning what Jesus says is what Jesus means!
read the continuation of that same passage and for those who might not have time to read
read it below:

If you fail to understand this scripture try this one, 2 John 1:7-11. It is not practiced among Christians today as it should be and that is why we are so troubled.

Jesus warns us of false teachers. Other religions are false.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
