Not sure, would like to know myself though. My girl cat is part Siamese. She was real light and looked more like a true Siamese when she was a baby, but as she got older, her fur got alot darker.

Your cat maybe changing and getting darker. What color is your cat? If he is a Dark brown color then he is a Chocolate Point and if he is gray in color then he is a Seal Point. I use to have a Siamese and she was a Chocolate Point. During the winter she would get darker and during the summer she would get lighter.

Some cat's coats change colors as they get older. Some cats, Siamese include don't get their true colors until they are a year or older.

All colorpoint cats darken as they age. The points are always darker even when they are kittens. Some colorpoint cats turn so dark that one cannot see the points over the body color.
