Tough one for the devotees of Krishna?

Question

can you tell me why the Lakshmi, could not get that opportunity to enter in rasa dance?

Once Laxsmi the consort of Narayana developed a greed to enter Rasa lila.For this she was performing austerities in bealvan. Yogamaya purnamasi approached her and instructed her in this way
" oh you want to enter rasa lila ........but you'll have to take birth in vraj in the womb of a gopi
laxsmi thought "that's do able"
"you will have to milk cows and make cow dung patties"
"aaaah.........OK will do " said laxsmi.
"and you'll have to marry another gopa and sneak away from Him and meet with Krishna as a paramour lover"
Hearing this laxsmi was sad and unable to do this and was disqualified to enter rasa lila

the main point has been made above -that laxsmis mood is aiswarya (awe and reverence) and in brag the topmost mood of madurya unatajujjvala ras prevails as prominent

so the two don't mix

Some say that laxsmi is still undergoing austerity to enter rasa lila

strangely wonderful are Krsna's lila taking account that laxsmi are Radha are one and the same sakti

This is the subject of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's discussion with Srila Venkatta Bhatta, the father of Gopal Bhatta Goswami.

The essence of the answer is that Lakshmi Devi is embodied as the goddess of fortune and because in the rasa dance in Sri Vrndavana dhama- there is no room for such opulence. Also she is unwilling to let go of her spiritual form which is full of aiswarya and take a gopi form. It is only as a cowherd damsel can one relate to Sri Gopala, the beautiful cowherd boy of Vraja in rasa lila.

The Supreme Energetic Being is one, although when that same Absolute Truth is seen in complete opulence then Sriman Narayana is seen but when the same Truth is seen saturated with sweetness, Sri Krishna is seen. Actually Krishna has all opulence but it is covered by the sweetness of Himself (Vraja, relations etc.)- Therefore He is considered Original Personality of Godhead SB 1.3.28
‘All these incarnations of Godhead are either plenary portions or parts of the plenary portions of the puruña-avatäras. But Kåñëa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself. In every age He protects the world through His different features when the world is disturbed by the enemies of Indra.’

Similarly the Divine energy is one. When in relation to spiritual opulence (Narayana's majesty) She is known as Lakshmi or Sri Devi. But When the energy is giving highest spiritual pleasure to Absolute in paramount sweetness- She is then known as Radharani. Still Radharani can be considered the basis of Lakshmi- although is principle they are the same potency.
This is the verdict of the Gaudiya vaisnava acharyas and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

gopikä-anugä haïä nä kaila bhajana
SYNONYMS
lakñmé—the goddess of fortune; cähe—wants; sei—that; dehe—in the body; kåñëera saìgama—the association of Kåñëa; gopikä—of the gopés; anugä—follower; haïä—becoming; nä—did not; kaila—perform; bhajana—worship.
TRANSLATION
“The goddess of fortune, Lakñmé, wanted to enjoy Kåñëa and at the same time retain her spiritual body in the form of Lakñmé. However, she did not follow in the footsteps of the gopés in her worship of Kåñëa.

So although Krishna and Narayana are the same Truth.

svayaà bhagavän ‘kåñëa’ hare lakñméra mana
gopikära mana harite näre ‘näräyaëa’

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kåñëa, attracts the mind of the goddess of fortune, but Lord Näräyaëa cannot attract the minds of the gopés. This proves the superexcellence of Kåñëa.

Still the Absolute truth remains one. This is inconceivable oneness and difference. The Absolute is inconceivable to mental speculation.

I appreciate this question and yes I had a tough time to write here. Goddess Laxmi was with God Vishnu. God Vishnu took incarnation as God Krishna on earth. God Vishnu did not fully took birth but one of his part took birth.
Each incarnation has their own meanings. One has to understand the works of god .
Strange are the works of God. That is why we are humans not God. Goddess Laxmi took the birth as princess Rukmini and married God Krishna.
Goddess Laxmi is in the heart of God Vishnu and thus she does not need ras lila . This is for the devotees like Radha etc.

Every Avtar had its own roll . Ras Lila as played by Lord Krishna had some different roll in Lord Krishna LILA while the Laxmi as well Padma had been prayed for as per their identifications.

Because of her mood of awe and reverence for the Lord. Krishna is beyond awe and reverence. He wants to be loved as ones son, or ones lover or ones friend, but not as God. Her mood is also in opulence and Vrendaven is in sweetness. Though Vrendaven is the most opulent, the opulence there is different. Srimad Bhagavatam By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada
