Yes if it is corrected to 20/20 with glasses but may want to think about contacts or lasik

Also you can not join the military to become a sniper that is something you will have to try for once you are in

I heard you have to have perfect 20/20 vision to be a sniper. But I'm not sure if that is 100% true. I could be totally wrong.

Yeah if you are far sighted but not near sighted. Far sighted you can see good at a distance but not up close without glasses. Near sighted you can see up close but not far off without glasses. Several other factors to consider is physical size. Contrary to the movies it is usually the smaller individuals who are made machine gunners and snipers because they make a smaller target and can conceal themselves easier with less available natural cover.

you have to be 20/20. Its not just about shooting. You have to be able to pick up movement, wind calls, range estimations....etc and for that you need 20/20.

Duh, NO!! You have to be able to use those sights, and glasses just really screw that up. They get tangled in the guilly suits, too. And you don't want to be out in the middle of the weeds and lose your specs, way not cool.
