There is no "cure." Stuttering can be overcome with practice and work. A speech therapist can be a big help. If you can't find one in your area that specializes in treating stuttering or if you want to go to a therapist and work on your own at the same time (as one uncle did), get the book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" published by The Stuttering Foundation. There are some studies in progress for drugs and you can read about them on their web site www.stutteringhelp.org.

i suffer from stuttering I always try to read out loud during class and I just get so overwhelmed . I am not actually sure if there is a cure but i try to focus my mind on reading out loud or talking right and I think before I speak sometimes if I know it will be a tricky sentence . Best of Luck

If you stutter, I think prayer is the best thing. I have seen a few people healed from stuttering. God has a way of doing miracles when we least expect Him to. Pray and believe that He will help you. Good luck and God bless.
