Me, my friend, her boyfriend, and my sister are having a party on Sunday afternoon, and it's supposed to be our ultimate "healthy party". We don't have any occasion for making this..we were just bored and made a reason to hang out. The thing is..is that she wanted me and my sis
to bring some things too. And I'm not sure what, and what would be healthy for a lunch kinda thing. She already said she's makin white fish with a lemon sauce, and dried up cherries and walnut salad, and artichoke dip. What should I bring?

You could be really creative and make a "fruit bouquet." Get some bamboo skewers, soak them in water for 15 minutes, then "thread" all different colors of fruit onto them. You can stick them in a vase, and put a dish of yogurt next to it for dipping. Healthy and good presentation! (You can also use kale or some other green veggie to make the bouquet have "leaves" and look more authentic.)

My default healthy thing is Crudites.
Cut up fresh vegetables & a dip.
Go for whatever is colourful:
Red/Green/Yellow Peppers, Zucchini spears,
celery sticks, carrot sticks (or baby carrots).
cucumber slices, cauliflower/broccoli florets,
really fresh white mushrooms, etc.

My dip recipe is sour cream & plain yogurt.
Equal parts, low-fat variety, plus a teaspoon of mayo.
You can add flavourings such as spice mixes.
My favourite is lemon-dill.
You could also add curry powder or horse-radish.

Delicious!!! I love a nice cool fruit salad and it's nice and healthy....You could probably find some interesting way's to design it on the web if you really wanted to get unique. I'm sure Martha Stewart would have something on her site!! Have fun at your party...
