Our living room is kind of small. We have camel color furniture and a light browish color for the carpet.... what color would look best on the walls?

I would do a golden color, not yellow and perhaps a faux finish (single glaze) on an accent wall. I would accent in reds.

Something BRIGHT - you have too many neutrals already. Since camel and brown are warm tones, another more vibrant warm color would look best. I would recommend marigold, burnt sienna, or brick red. I know that sounds a little crazy but bright colors always look better than people expect and really make a room a nice, cozy place to hang out. And don't let anyone tell you that they will make the room feel smaller. Unless you are painting a white closet black, that is really not the case. Good luck!

You definitely want to stay with the 'warm' color pallette...how about a variation of a peach/coral for the walls? or perhaps a very light yellow? they would go beautifully with your carpeting, etc..just be sure to get at least three paint samples, of any color you select, and paint them on a piece of poster board, then leave all the samples in the room for a few days, so you can see how the colors look in daylight, evening, etc..in no time, you will have chosen the color you really want to live with...unlike what someone else said here, you DO NOT want BLUE..it's a cool color, you want to stay with the warm shades...

Personally I would go with a sage green. Green works best with brown. If you have a dark space go with a light sage and if you have a lot of natural light choose something darker. You can even paint the main wall in your living room a darker shade than the other walls in your living room for some contrast. Good luck!

i would go with a blue to green color anything not in the brown family. You need to contrast the tans and browns. If you decide to keep the walls in the brown/tan color I would add more color with the pillows and accessories. You can do alot with pillows, vases, silkplants, ect. Black picture frames will give a room with those colors a pop also. Just a few ideas! Good Luck

I would add a warm color - such as peach, yellow, sage green,or perhaps aqua. Add a color you both like , and then add printed or textured pillows to match.
