I am a new Christian and I'm so glad Jesus saved me. I went to church growing up but didnt have a personal walk with the LOrd and i really am a babe in Christ. I have such a hunger to serve Jesus. At midweek service last night I felt really impressed by God to be a witness for him especially to my unsaved boyfriend. I havent yet made real friends at church. This's hard to do. My boyfriend is an athest and I couldn't invite the ladies from the church over and expose them to that. He's real smart and can make you feel like the dumbest person alive and be so polite about it that you just feel guilty for taking up his time with bein so dumb. i feel the Lord is telling me this is my call that he's given me, that I have to be a witness for him and bring my bf to Jesus. I feel such an ache in my heart and worry about the rapture coming and Jack being left behind. When I got home from church I cried and sought God. Jack doesnt try to stop me from church anymore but doesnt believe.

Pray that I'll grow to be a strong woman for the Lord and have wisdom to deal with this. I know Jesus is still working within me and I want to never not do the best for Jesus.

Oh, Kerroline, I am right where you are. My husband is an unbeliever too. At first, I tried so hard to witness to him and tell him the wonderful things that the Lord has done in my life, but soon realized that it was doing no good. I have heard it said over and over that the hardest people to witness to, are the people that you are closest to. The best thing that you can do, is show Christ through your actions, not your words. Be an example to him, and pray for him. We are not responsible for making people believe. The only thing that we can do is plant the seed, God will make it grow. When I stopped preaching to my husband and started letting my testimony be a silent one, that is when I started to see results. I have seen my husband become a lot more tolerant over the 8 years that we have been married. He even told me that he is proud of me for getting up early and taking the kids to church. Be at peace, dear friend. Jesus said:
" Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful" John 14:27

I am praying for you and will tell others to also. I am a middle aged person and I have found that the best way to share your faith, aspecially when you are new in the Lord is by your actions. Believe me, people will notice a change, and that will give you an opening to tell them why you have changed.
Don,t be surprised, miracles do happen, and your boyfriend may accept the Lord. Then again he may not. In that case you will have to make your way alone for a while, just remember you are never truly alone.

God Bless

Just live your testimony. That's the best thing you can do.Someone somewhere is watching your life and through that you may lead alot people to God.About your boyfriend you stay true to God and you can lead him to the Lord.Make one mistake and you'll hear about it forever.
Atheist can be reached tho. There is a man who goes to my church that was an Atheist but now he stand behind the pulpit preaching the word.So keep the faith - and trusting in God and he will bless you many times over! Good luck and God Bless you on your journey!! Be carful of being unequally yoked

God bless you! You sound like just the warrior that Jesus needs in this day and age. I've included a source below and it will give you every answer you need both for your boyfriend and for yourself. The one thing Jesus always taught was to lead by example. Pray for your BF then praise God that He will deliver him. God said he listens to our prayers and once we ask He already has the plans in motion so all we need to do is thank Him from then on.
Good luck and keep seeking what God wants (check your bible always to make sure what you are doing is in line).

Its a tough thing when 2 people have such vast beliefs. It says in the bible what Christians are supposed to be yoked too. Theres a reason for that. I tried it briefly with a mormon and it was impossible. I wish the best for you.

pay attention to the animosity toward religion on this web site and pray to God about the direction of your relationship with your boyfriend.

I am really excited about your new found faith in Christ.
Please read Luke chapt. 8 and decide what kind of soil are you.(parable of the sower.)Are you the rocky soil? Really excited to recieve Jesus but fall away when tempted?
Or are you the Good soil, retaining the seed and persevering?
It is really difficult to die to your own selfish desires, but pray to God to give you the strength!

Well, first, you need to break up with your boyfriend. We are to be equally yoked. Meaning, christians with christians. it doesn't mean that you can't be friends, just not dating to marriage. Keep searching for the truth, you'll find it.
