Presumably not a monument to ignorance such as the "creation museum". Any suggestions on how the money could have been better spent?

The money could have been allocated to the poor, of course. It also could have been donated toward programs in developing countries to eradicate poverty, or used toward fighting illiteracy. It could have been given toward empowering battered women, fighting child abuse, building residences for the homeless, caring for the elderly, assisting the mentally ill, or helping refugees. It could also have been given to scientific research to help cure disease.

Jesus said the poor will always be with you, but He did not say waste money of something so foolish. Those who believe in Creation do not need a museum to show it and the ones that don't believe are going to it and be converted.

feed and clothe the poor, there are Christians in other countries that can't even get Bibles, send some.

Tahke care of those that are truly in need, don't create another welfare state.

I'd invest a good portion of it and use the revenue from the money to build low-cost affordable houses for the poor. I've always thought that helping people should be done one at a time, so I'd choose one family at a time and help lift them from their poverty to get them on the road to prosperity. A home, a car, training, whatever it took to help them out.

I would buy as many apartment buildings as I could, and rent only to low income at a minimum rate, or if they couldn't afford to pay rent, let them do odd jobs for the rent.
sorry I do not believe in giving a free ride, that only destroys a persons self respect.

I would help all the needy that I could and I would give to different churches to help people in the religious community that need extra help. And I would let God help me and my family
