I will be flying to the Cayman Islands in August 2007. The company I booked the trip with says "no" because travel to the Cayman Islands is considered domestic travel. A local travel agent said "yes." Who is correct?

If you are British, then no. However if you are from any other country then yes.

The Cayman Islands are not domestic travel for US citizens, you will have to have a passport or you will not be allowed to board the plane.

Swimming with the Stingrays is a ought to. The turtle farm is a great place to pass to and that they have each and every day activities no longer basically with the turtles, yet sharks & birds besides. The Caymans are a great place for snorkeling, diving, fishing and all different varieties of water activities. The seashores are ideal and romantic, and there are sunset and dinner cruises available. you may experience horses on the sea coast, or hike or pass to the botanical backyard. in case you desire to get removed from the sea coast, the Cayman gallery is nicely worth a end and that i've got heard good issues touching directly to the recent vehicle museum.

If you are a U.S. citizen you need a passport. AAA does take passport photos, but they sure are NOT free! You need to go to the site listed below to get info to apply for your passport. You must print out and complete the forms and take them to the POST OFFICE passport office. You ABSOLUTELY must pay for expedited service...then hopefully you will get the passport in about 4 weeks. Wait time for passports now is about 16 weeks...NOT 12...and some people are still waiting after 20 weeks. Expedited service is your only hope. Good luck.

Yes, any time you leave the US, you need your passport. you can get it done faster through probate court in your town hall. you can have your passport picture in a bunch of places, just give a few places to find out. I know triple A does it free if you're a member. it will take about 2 weeks, so you may want to get the process ASAP. have a good time on your vacation.
