I was dating my boyfriend for 2 years in an open relationship. Now we are committed. Then I dated other men. Now he can't stop harping on it. He is very upset by what I have done. I never had sex, but I did fool around. What can I do to move our relationship forward? Can I do anything?

Er... it's not a SEXUAL PAST if it wasn't sexual.

You both need to mature a bit.

it depends on how long ago u cheated. if we r talkng a week give it some time. it will take a while to rebuild that trust but if it has been more than a few months then he has a problem and he either has to deal with it or u may have to move on

It sounds like he can't handle the situation. Tell him he needs to make a decision-either get over it and be with you or move on. It's not healthy for either of you.

Wait - you dated AFTER you were committed? Um, you CHEATED on him. He doesn't HAVE to get over it or let you forget it. If you don't like being reminded that you are a cheater and can't be trusted...then I suggest you find someone who can accept your wandering ways...

thats why open relationships hardly ever work insecuritys, jealousy either move on with someone else or except the fact that this is what you are going to have to put up with.

If he can't let go now.....??? After TWO YEARS....yeah, no. He's gonna be one of them people who throw things up in your face every time you disagree with him on something or do something that he deems as 'wrong'.
YOU can't do a thing about it. It's HIM that has to want to do something to change that pattern of behavior.

This is what I LOVE about my husband---what's done is done. It's in the past, leave it there.

its not your problem its his --- your past has made you the person that he cares for so why should he worry about what has happened?? --- you have committed to him now so its all irrelevant --- best wishes
