Just replace the stock bulbs when they dull down about 50 hours. Silver star have tint the tungsten has to shine thru. High intensity discharge lights have expensive bulbs and transformers that can fail $ 100 bulb and even more $$$ transformer bought one at a time. I noticed no difference in light out put with Silverstar bulbs.

I have not had good luck with the HID lights, they cast funny light and aren't as bright as they claim nor as bright as stock lights. I don't have any experience with silverstar, but I wouldn't try it. just replace the stock ones if you want the best output.

Put the Silver Star on Durango and very happy with the results. Other option is higher wattage bulbs, but can damage the switches and melt plastic headlight containers.
Good Luck
