Does it only come when you've been on the computer? If so, you might need glasses. Try having enough light in the room, but not so that it glares off the screen.

Here's what I recommend, stop using the computer about 2 hours before going to bed, this will give you eyes some time to rest before going to bed. Staring at the computer screen for two hours makes things worse, stop, take a break every few minutes, give your eyes time to adjust. The big problem is the eyes, you might be on the road to some serious eye strain. Since the nerve from the eyes travel very short distance, it doesn't take long for this problem to crop up.

We have treated 15 - 20 yrs cases.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk, rice and good sleep will help you.
Use good screen to your monitor.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.
If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

You may be suffering from migraines or a more serious condition, I don't recommend Yahoo answers too much for this problem, you should go to your health care Professional (doctor) about this problem soon. as it may be a threat to your health to not. If the other advice fails, at least try to rest your eyes before bed and use the computer less before bed. Get well soon. hope this helps.

Hi:

What you are describing of your situation with your headache,
There is a possibility that your headche is caused by allergies or sinus congestion or sinus infection. To be on the dafe side I would call the doctor, sched the appointment. That way if it is a sinus infection, you doctor can give you the perscription right there and you can fill it on the way home.

Feel better.

Have you had your eyes checked lately? Putting a large strain on your eyes, ex. computer screen, tv, etc, will give you horrible headaches. And no aspirin or tylenol will help. Try that first.
