I was once at a wedding where they served a tuna salad that was fabulous! All I recall about it though is that it had sugar in it (sounds weird but so delicious) and it was served in tiny cream puffs. If anyone has a recipe like this I would love to have it.

Here's my recipe...this is how my mom taught me to make it..

1 can of tuna-drained
1/3 cup mayo (Best foods or Hellmans)
1/4 cup celery-finely chopped
2 Tbl. chopped onion
2 Tbl. sweet pickle relish
1 teas. sugar
pepper to taste

mix in a bowl & enjoy !

I just spread onto bread or fill a pita. I think you can find those pastry bowl puffs already made in the freezer section at your grocery store.

(You can also add walnuts and/or chopped apple)

You're right, that's weird!
I could see dusting the puff pastry with confectioners sugar.
I buy the flaked tuna in spring water (no oil) & drain.
Place in a bowl with chopped green onion (or celery).
Add enough mayo to moisten & mix with a fork.
You could add a little curry or chile powder to spice it up.
Or perhaps some lemon juice & chopped dill.
I spread mine on whole wheat bread for sandwiches.
Or place a scoop on a crisp lettuce leaf for salad.

well, can't help you with the sugar part, but here's my well-loved tuna salad :)

4 cans drained tuna in water
2-3 large heaping spoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 dill pickle spears, chopped
1/2 medium onion, finely minced

mix all well and serve with toast or crackers!
