You have spent a lot, but you could do a more meaningful gift...for my wedding, dear friends of ours gave us a basket filled with "dates" like 2 movie tickets, 2 zoo passes, restaurant cards, 2 aquarium tickets, 2 Phillies tickets, etc...and included a note that said "A couple that plays together stays together." It was inexpensive but touched our hearts, and you can make it as extravagant or simple as you want.

Since you spent a lot of money got to a destination wedding in jamaica it really isnt necessary for you to buy a gift too. If you will feel bad if you dont then a card and money is good enough and in fact is a good gift. Many couples would prefer cash, but it is considered rude for them to ask for it in lieu of gifts. You sound like a good friend to care so much about this. Good for you, good friends are hard to come by.

Give them a little cash in a card. It shows the thought was there, and they can combine it with their other cash gifts to get what they really want. As the best man you should give them something, but I doubt they'll hold it against you if you only give them $20 or so.
Believe me, they of all people know how expensive weddings are. It is the thought that counts.

You've already done a lot for this wedding. A card and money are perfectly acceptable - in fact, where I come from, they're the norm. If putting money in the card feels weird to you, buy them a gift card to something useful - Home Depot if they bought a house, a local restaurant if they like to eat out, etc.

if you took some pictures of their wedding in jamaica why not prepare for them a slide show presentation of those photos so the other guests can see the wedding too? i think that'll be a great gift which the couple can also keep and look at later on like a wedding video.

If you feel bad then get them somthing. Are they registered? Check out what they want and get what you can afford. If not Cash is always great. But I am sure they are aware of the expences you had as a guest at the wedding. Best of luck

You are not obligated to give a gift. If you decide to give something small, that is more than generous

I would say you'd be fine with the card and money.
