how much $ can a familie get for every babi you have? My girlfreind has 2 kids already but i was wondering if i married her and had some more we could move in to a bigger place. our rent is about 250 everymonth. how much money can you get and for how long with new babis? she's pregnant now and we ar planing on haveing too more soon. would it be enogh money to rent a bigger place and maybe a newer car ( i want one of those mustages like everyone else in our neighborhood) for us? Thanks! I didn't want to call the govermnet center to ask them becasue they might be mad at me or stop giving us the money. is their a way to get as much as you can?

The answer to your question is NO. You are not going to get more money for marrying your girlfriend and she is not going to get more money for having more babies. What you and the girlfriend need to know is that the number of years she can receive welfare is capped -- five years total in most cases. So continuing to have babies is not a good idea. In some states, the amount of money you get goes DOWN with each subsequent child, as well. Also, if you're living with/married to her, the aid will decrease in most cases.
In the United States (I'm assuming that's where you are), your girlfriend may be entitled to food assistance and possibly medical coverage if she keeps getting pregnant. That's pretty much it, though.
You should also be aware that if you get your girlfriend pregnant, you are responsible for supporting that child. The government has cracked down on this lately -- ablebodied men who do not provide support for their children have found themselves in jail all over the country. A better use of your time is working to get a job and take care of your responsibilities. If you have no skills, contact your local vocational rehabilitation or job corps center for help.

Get a job. And what would you and your wife do if there's no more welfare. Cause that's what's going to happen sooner or latter. And you should be ashamed of yourself. Wanting to take the kids money. By buying a car.We the working people that work to help those incense children to have a place to live and eat .Only because there parents can't do much. That I understand. But shouldn't have more kids if you can't support them.Be careful what you wish for.Keep that roof on there heads if you know what I mean. and you both try to get a job.And make your wish come true.

I know this may be taken wrong, but why can't you find a job instead of worrying about how much welfare can give you for each child. That is like brokering a baby (just having them for the money). If you can't afford them 1 child is too many. Welfare should only be for emergency (I know there are some people who legitimately need the money for short term). People like you who use the system upset me as it is my tax dollars that are paying for all your babies. I think it is appropriate for them to take away money if you keep having babies. I have said that you should only get paid for the children you have when you sign up and when they start school you have to work for your welfare. If you have any more, you have to pay all hospital and doctor fees and get no more money or food stamps.

Well first of all you know with each child you have the money goes down and not up especiallly since neither one of you are employed. They have changed that around a little bit because of people like you! Those poor kids, that is the sad part. YOu two shouldnt be allowed to have kids since money is the only reason you are having them so your lazy @#$ doesnt have to work

You shouldn't be taking advantage of the government because you can't afford to have children. Get a better job and make more money, don't have more kids to get more welfare. That's idiotic and simply a disgrace. If you can afford to have a computer and be online, you should NOT be on welfare in the first place. People who cannot afford to have children should NOT have children!
