Not likely, one thing is Iran wouldn't like being controlled by Russia, and even if they did Russia would turn on Iran as well.

I think the question is more than a little bit naive. If you think a country that has no shared border with us, Iran, and a country which we recently gave 500 billion dollors to, Russia, have any option of invading us or any need to or any capabillity of then your severely uninformed and you need to go to your library and read more than one book to catch up with the rest of the people in the world. Apparently you watch the news, propaganda, and you listen to your government, control freaks. Read some books, disvover the reality of the world.

quite the only one i could be apprehensive approximately could be Russia as they have the capacity to do it. the different 2 worldwide places don't have the capacity to get to us until Russia desperate to get them accross the sea's or via their usa via Alaska. So quite there is quite no longer something to be bothered approximately because of the fact Russia imho would not invade us becuase they be attentive to the potential of the U. S.. they do no longer seem to be that stupid. for this reason they in no way did it returned interior the chilly warfare. No, but I think the question misses the point. Neither of them want war, but both have a lot of internal tensions, and border skirmishes could distract their people from the economic problems, and give them someone to blame it all on. I worry that the neocons are playing right into their hands...especially in Iran. Ahmedinejad is probably on the verge of losing power, but if he can keep taking British sailors prisoner, he can hold power. Let's not give him any excuses. Let him hang himself.
