What about love. I understand that it is hard for you to see God's love in the scheme of things, but loving God is a pleasure. I did not think it was. God knew that worshiping Him fills this void inside. It is kind of different kind of hunger. In a different stomach. So if I do not have God for that hunger, nothing else can take its place.
There is a lot of hope involved with loving God. It might not look like He is on the job, but He really is. The relationship with God is so wonderful. That is what He offers to all of us.

Life everlasting and hope for tommorow and a clear conscience and potluck dinners, not to mention we know the real meaning of Christmas and Easter and this JOY. The world didn't give it to me and the world can't take it away.
But I guess if you're not a Christian, the answer to your question is nothing. Nothing but fear. Fear of eternal damnation.
At the risk of oversimplification, let's compare eternity to breaking the speed limit on a superhighway with a State Policeman in your rear view mirror.
If you're speeding, you'll probably get a lump in your throat or a knot in your stomach or however else your body naturally reacts to sudden fear, and the faster you're going, the greater the fear.
But if you have the cruise control set to within legal boundaries, the sight of the cop in your mirror doesn't faze you, or cause the slightest fear and you might even feel nice about seeing the policeman, knowing his job is to serve and protect you.
That's how it is living life for God. I'm not perfect, but I'm striving to live within the boundaries HE set within his word, so actually meeting him isn't scary or fearful, it's great comfort.

I have little to offer. But God has an abundance He offers: Mercy, Grace, Redemption, Justification, Forgiveness, Great Love, New Life, Peace, Purpose, His Spirit, Fellowship, Inner Growth, Truth, Strength, Joy, Gentleness, Patience, Temperance, Wisdom, Perseverence, Humility, Kindness, and EVEN MORE!

Actually, it is about displacing fear here and now with truth, and that means an understanding that stands forever. Those who deliver fear as a way of life still have much work before them before they can understand.

My dear Markyyy
You know me as a conservative Christian. I have to honestly say, I am doing my very best to educate people out of this 'fear'.
I am not a fearful Christian. I have nothing to fear. Fear is a tactic used by Satan. To accept fear is to not understand who God is.
"Fear of the Lord" is a mantra of love. We respect, revere, worship and cherish Who God is and our relationship with Him.
The sort of fear that many many Christians relate and cling to is not the fear that God would have. It saddens me greatly that non believers are subject to this type of witness from these misguided souls.
I could answer each one of the questions you have above with a rational answer that is the exact opposite to fear - it would be up to you of course, to believe or interpret my answers as you wish. I pray that one of these days we will all come to some sort of understanding.
blessings and (((Hugs))) :)

If you mean no offense, why present such a question? In any event, other than fundamentalists,I know of no fear-based theology. You need to research Christianity.

Fear has worked for that religion for 2000 years. It is tried and true to bring in the money and the sheeple.

its sad logic but christians try and scare us to save us.
their logic is that if they tell us all the bad things that will happen to us in hell, we might change our ways. its kinda nice, to know that complete strangers can care about other strangers.
but yeah its nice but gets annoying. basically to them the belief that they will make it to heavan gives them comfort and hope, so christianity DOES have good aspects about it. its a nice religion if you dont much care about if your right or not, as long as it makes you feel good.
though not many christians look at it that way.
