I just love to cook, period! Give me a glass or two of wine, a good kitchen, well-stocked fridge and some music and I'm in heaven! :)

I am a professional baker, so I love to bake - I guess that goes with the territory. My favorite thing to bake is fruit pies. They are challenging, pie crust is challenging, and I can really experiment with combining fruits for flavors. I also love making and decorating cut out cookies.

Thick cut rib-eyes, lightly seasoned with Montreal Steak seasoning, then cooked medium rare over medium coals - no gas grill for us. I like to serve with grilled corn on the cob ( silver queen white corn is my fav), tossed salad & homemade garlic bread......Yummy!!

My perfect meal is one that can be made entirely in one pot/pan and is a meal-in-one. Tom Ka Gai (Thai chicken soup), chicken w/ dumplings, Italian tortellini soup, etc. All have meat, carbs, and veggies.
