I just can't put the (3) sections into words. I am not a good writer and really want to say something to the courts in writing if needed. Please help, as I have to get this done by tomorrow June 8. Thanks. The father of a daughter (13) sexually abused by a 33 year old male.

Just write from your heart. The words will come.
Good luck and I hope your daughter heals well mentally from this.

I am adoping a 9 year old boy that has been molested by 2 different men. These men claim, after being caught, that they want to change. They want ot go to "rehab". They say whatever they think a judge wants to hear, but the truth is they don't want to change and they don't want help. They are dangerous. They destory lives, the children themselves, mothers, fathers, grandparents and the list goes on. The courts need to take a stand, and punish these preditors. Because when they are free and walking around with the rest of us it is hard to recognize them, because these monsters look like normal people and that makes them even more dangerous. The lawyers, judges and lawmakers need to protect our children.

Maybe my opinion will help you. Good luck.

Try this... call a friend over the phone and have them write it down while you simply express how you feel.

How you saw it affect your daughter...how you felt towards the pedophile... how you'd like to see justice served.

Don't think, just talk, and they can take dictation and then write it up and send it back to you in an email. I've done this lots of times with my clients, it's very effective.

If I were you, I would forget about HOW to say anything and just SAY it. Victims are not legal experts and shouldn't sound like they are.
