I have trouble imagining spending that much on a shower gift, frankly. Showers are traditionally for small, practical or silly gifts.

Still, if that's your budget, you could always check the registry list and see what fits in your budget.

On the other hand, this might be a great time to give the bride something more personal, like lingerie or a piece of art you think she and her fiance would like.

Traditionally a bridal shower is a time for fun gifts. Think gag gifts or something that is a personal joke between you. The gift you should be spending the most on is the wedding gift which is usually something for their home or new life together.

lingerie is often an accepted gift if you are that close. If not an ipod might be an option. digital cameras are always cool and maybe a nice dinner gift certificate could be an option too.

I read a Digital camera, consider that. If they don't have one they can then take good pictures of their honeymoon destination. And if your not comfortable buying ligerie consider a gift card to victorias secret or fredericks of hollywood, or another similar place.

I love quality bedding. Try Bon Ton or Target. Complete sets can run $150 or so. And you can never have too much bedding!
