I've dated this guy in his early 30's for a year in AUgust. He's met my mom and sister but I have yet to meet any of his family. We live four hours away but I go see him or he comes to see me once a week or so. Is it wierd that it seems like he doesn't want me to meet his family? I was so excited for my family to meet him. What's his deal?

Maybe it means he is ashamed of his family.

It could also mean his family is just not that important in his life. (that would be the case with me)

It might mean he just does not see you as a long term investment.

It might mean he has another wife/girlfriend he is hiding from you.

It might mean he is embarrassed of you? (I see your name is "sweet and sassy" Just HOW sassy are you? :) )

The high probability answer is It probably does not mean ANYTHING because for the most part we guys just don't spend too much time thinking about what things MEAN. The male mental process goes like- "I like you, I am here with you, I try to do nice things for you and with you." That about sums it up.

Sweet,
Hey sweety how much of an age gap is there if any? Why do you ask truck? Well my younger sister had almost the same experience with a guy that she was 10 years younger than. Turned out this guy was married and his family was his wife and kiddo and thus the reason for no meeting of the family.
Turns out the guy just wanted and slim thin little arm trophy to strut around with and yes all the other stuff, sis was devistated but wiser for the wear.
Ok so if you know he's not dating where he lives, not married, and the age gap isn't huge then maybe the guy's family is kinda waked or where he live? No? ever seen Good Will Hunting" with Matt Damon? He talked his famiy up and his "12 brothers", big house, colleges wanted him etc....Or it could be sweety you blow his mind enough that he keeps forgetting to get his family together cause he wants to spend ALL his time together with you!!!! ???

He may have something to hide. I hope it's not a wife and Kids!! Or he could be running away from an event thats really hurt him. Does he even talk about his family or his past? Make a surprise visit and see how he reacts, but be careful! If he freaks out,he's hiding something!! I hope he's not. For your sanity, find out ASAP, a year is too long to live with some Bu**sh*t!!!

Maybe his not ready to let you meet his family or his not the type to bring home a girl to meet his family. Another possibility is that he may have another girl that his family knows.

He's not interested in you meeting family. What's the big deal? You're a booty call, not a fiancee.

If your relationship is serious as well, I assume, he's not taking it seriously, If it's not you shouldn't worry about it. Live the moment
