There's a reallly shy guy on my bus that I want to get to know. I sit next to him sometimes but we never talk because we're both listening to our iPods. He's sat next to me a few times and I've sat next to him but he's really quiet and hardly ever talks. He seems really sweet, though, and lives very close to me. Should I try to start a conversation? Or is it okay if I give him a note asking him out? Help!!

ask to listen to the music he's listening to for starters, if he's very shy, likely will not reject ye if ye ask him straight out,
ye could always record "Will you go out with me "insert name" "
on ye ipod or such... and ask if wants to listen to yours & vica versa
have you tried straight out grabbing his hand ?
(make an excuse like 'my hands cold!')

Well you share something in common already, you both have iPods (for the record i think they are the gayest thing ever). So you could ask him what he is listening to and go from there, you dont have to jump the gun so quickly

Talk to him. Ask him what is on his iPod. You might have the same songs on there. It's just something to say to get the ball rolling.

No I wouldn't embarrass myself like that I mean the guy has a mouth if he wanted to hook up with you he surely would have let you
know by now.
