I'm not "generalizing" because I never said "all people on yahoo answers" I said "some people" :)

Michael V...you are just purely disgusting.
Sgt. D...I am not talking about people who differ in opions with me, I am speaking of the people who leave irrelevant, mean, ignorant, disgusting comments like Michael V. :)

Some people are a waste of sperm...LOL
They are bored, they have nothing going on, they have no significant other to be able to "release their frustrations" with(catch my drift? LOL), they are just plain miserable, they enjoy bringing others down so they can feel as crappy as they do, they are ignorant when speaking on topics that they:
a)have no knowledge of but base their facts on assumptions, generaliztions, heresay and stupidity
b)they're too lazy to research subjects before voicing their opionions and views
c)they think they know everything
d)they are either still kids/teens or they are "adults" that still haven't grown up
e)they lack decorum, consideration and respect for their fellow humans (respect and consideration for our fellow humans is becoming extinct)
A sense of humor is not always appllicable to every question on here. Yahoo!answers is not solely for people to come and joke around. More people have legitimate inquiries.
This question did not state everyone on yahoo!answers is rude-it states people who ARE. Those who are jumping down her throat need a thicker layer of skin. Why do you feel she is targeting YOU? Perhaps you are the type she is inquiring about. I didn't get all defensive because I read the question as it was meant to be read.
That's another issue-why can't people READ the questions thoroughly before responding? Her question was pretty short, yet some of you STILL can't answer it correctly.

There are rude people everywhere, but online you'll find even more because a lot of people who wouldn't dare being so rude in person feel all strong and confident when they can be anonymous.
However, the best thing to do is to ignore them. While of course a few of the rude people are just people who feel very strongly about a certain topic and can't contain themselves, most of these rude folks are bullies. Bullies aren't rude because they care that much about the issue they're talking about, but they thrive on the reactions they get! Any time someone responds to them, either in a later answer or by posting a question like yours, they love it, that's exactly what they want. Either ignore them or just hit the 'report' flag without posting any response for everyone to see, and leave it at that. If no one would react to their flaming, they'd get bored and find something else to do, unfortunately on a large board like this there will always be some who will respond...

Some people can be very cruel. Masked behind the veil of anonymity, they say whatever pops into their minds. It's sad really. I've spoken English my whole life, but if I make a typo or use a word improperly, I get a bunch of flak. When asking questions, I accept the good and leave the rest. We can't take the criticism too personally. There are jerks out there and we have to steel ourselves against them.

no longer likely. I look to discover that many questions are purely approximately all the comparable questions are being asked over & yet returned. often on the Singles & relationship classification. the only questions i'm asking or answering are unique questions that has been asked not often or no person has ask in any respect. i could post an consumer-friendly question yet provided that its a final hotel. those days, i'm finding for unique inquiries to respond to or ask. i assume some human beings sense the comparable way & it is why much less human beings come right here & take section.

I agree, i have had the rough end of the rudeness stick directed at me also. I think it is realted to the fact people dont have to be accountable for what they say too much. I mean getting reported...oohhhh thats scary! really. Secondly i think that people have countless accounts to act out their vengence again to never be accountable for what they say. Thirdly, you dont acually see the other person - it is far harder to be outwardly rude to someone you dont know face to face than behind simple words. Also have you noticed, they never seem to have an email address that you can hold them accountable? Try not to let it get you down, they are fools with nothing better to do. lol.

People seem to be kinda rude on here, because they are held less accountable, than if in someone's immediate area.
Anonymity is key for rudeness anywhere on the world wide web!!!

Is it that they are being rude or disagreeing with you and not telling you what you want to hear? I have found that people will give you a thumbs down no matter what you write. May I suggest you get a little thicker skinned and not take it so personally. You may find life a little easier that way.

i think people in general have a much higher tendency to 'let it all out' when they're online. it's easier. Much easier. they are faceless, and risk nothing. there's a welsh saying that i love, which when translated says "every rooster is bold on his own dung heap". i like to remember this when i think about all those meanies trolling behind their monitors. (it was kok - not rooster, but yahoo censored it!)
keep the faith.

Yea...there are some rude answers. But some people say how they feel and they end up turning to be inappropriate. And there are those who are truthful but it sounds rude.
