okay here's the deal. i have a man i have been with for a while we have been together since high school we are both in our twenties now. he always does very nice and special things for like send roses to my job or takes to nice places or what ever i want to do. he is very sweet and loving. but he always complains about me not doing anything special for him. i try to come up with ideas but none i think he would like or make him feel like i really love him. have any good ideas. HELP?

Men don't show love the same way as women, they don't need a lot of flowers and hearts to be content. Make sure you spend some listening to him carefully and react to his gestures, he will give you obvious clues what he needs to be happy. Don't try and outguess a lot, most men are fairly obvious in their wants.

I think what guys really dig is when they know you listen to what they have to say.
Surprise him by making him his favorite dinner (ask his Mom if you don't know his favorite dish) then why don't you serve it just dressed in some sexy clothes and tell him that he can have you for desert but with a wink let him know that he can have desert first :)
Draw him a bath, wash his hair and his body, join him in the bathtub for some steamy love making.
Send him an e-mail, letting him know you can't wait for him to get home, as you know what you would like to do with him.
Change things up in the bedroom, ask him what he thinks would be the perfect night together.
Just tell him how attracted you are to him, that you have naughty thoughts during the day and that you fantasize about giving him a ********.
Man like to be wanted just as we girls like to know that a man is attracted to us.

What does he like to do? Buy tickets to a baseball game if that's his thing. Or buy tickets to a concert. Or both of you go for a real massage. Is there a romatic restaurant that you can take him to?
Men and sex is absolutely a definitely pleaser. Get some massage oil, whipped creme, play strip poker, enjoy the great outdoors if you have privacy. Sexy outfits is good. Call him at work and tell him what you want to do to him tonight.

Try doing thoughtful things, like giving him a scalp massage, or cooking him a special meal, or take him to dinner, or to a movie, like a surprise, open the door for him, make him feel like a king. You know what he likes, if he likes a sport, get tickets to a game and go with him, even if you don't like it. Spending time doing what he likes shows that you care.

He sounds like a very thoughtful and caring man. You have to start and think: what does he like? What foods does he enjoy? What does he enjoy doing? Sometimes you have to really think what makes them happy and surprise them. Make him a nice dinner or dessert. Or surprise him and take him to see a movie he would enjoy (Even if it's not your cup of tea). Nurture your relationship; think of small ways to let him know you value him, respect him, and mostly, you love him and want him to be happy. You are very lucky to be loved so much! Hey:
From a mans point of view. Surpprise him with a full body massage, wine and a dinner. He needs to know that you enjoy him; tell him that! Leave him notes in his pants pockets, etc.
If his in to it, TALK dirty to him when you are sharing theat special moment and most of all COMMUNICATE and TOUCH HIM while you are there!

Im single but if I were you I would get tickets to a sports event for you and him like a football, baseball or whatever sport he loves and surprise him and take him one weekend and afterwords maybe a pinic for the two of you and finish it off with a special desert, LOL hope this helps.

He is complaining becuase he is gift giving for a pay up! That isn't good. He should love you for who you are, even if you don't do special little things. What ever his interests are ie: Camping, hiking, skiing, whatever it is, take him to do those things! Take him to get an ice cream!
