I was told this when I was a kid, and it crushed me. It also forced me away from religion, because I couldn't understand why God would let Satan trick me so verily, and let me love a subject that was created by Satan. I was 7 when I started my own research, wanting to know how old the bones were and how it could be disproved through the Bible. I'm a senior in Anthropology at the university level, and now I study all sorts of fossils. I research still, and I thank an all-powerful Creator for making a world so interesting and free that I can study freely and still be loved. I no longer feel restrained by other people's religion - I have a personal relationship with the energy of the Big Guy. I don't think He'll condemn me, He probably likes how independant I am since He made me this way.

On the basis of what? Flawed carbon 14 dates that can't go back farther than a few thousand years? Flawed radiometric dates that assume to know that there is no possible way the sample did not have ANY "daughter" products when it was formed? On the basis of the circular reasoning by which age is determined by sedimentary deposition location and age of sediment is determined by finding certain fossils?
This is ludicrous to think and shows what happens to the cognitive powers of anyone who will deny God at all costs.
Incidentally, the fossil evidence for the alleged descent of man would fit comfortably on an average sized dining room table. Go figure.

The Paluxey river in Texas proves Dinosaurs lived along with us.The Ica Rocks of Peru show engravings of men hunting stegosaurus.I believe the earth is older also but there was something here before for God tells Adam and Eve,"Be fruitful and multiply and RE-plenish the earth.Replenish ? What was taken away?Job chapter 40 speaks of a brontosaurus type beast called Behemoth.Maybe we ate them all because they were slow witted.Maybe Fred Flintstone did eat Bronto-Burgers?

Humankind is a mere 6,00 years old, however the creative prosess wasn't a mere 7 days, it way millions of years, a day was a metaphor for a period of time, after the creation it refers to all the 7 days as 1 day and therefore didn't mean a literal 7 days.

Nope. God made dinosaurs. The people who date those things are VERY wrong. If they can't explain something too old to be dated, they should become born-again Christians and use the Bible, a 100.00000000000% accurate book.

Of course he did. He also invented artificial sugar to trick us into thinking we could eat as many sweets as we wanted without still getting fat. ^_^
