well, the most obvious way has got to be straighteners, GHDs rock!!!
But you can also try straightening mousses and creams, but they don't really work very well for me.
Good Luck

Use a hair straightner...like GHDs or other thin ceramic ones....you can get L'oreal straightening cream for curly hair that you put on when wet and it protects your hair and stops it from firzzing...also John freda do a good frizz ease serum to stop frizzyness

I straighten mine everyday with a flat iron hair straightener. I've also had it Yuko straightened in a salon a couple times, but it costs a few hundred dollars. Yuko does straighten your hair permanently, but it still grows back curly, so I'd say just stick with using a straightener.

get a hair straightener, and straightening products so your hair doesn't burn. Ceramic hair straighteners work the best and do the least amount of damage to your hair, there is also an option of getting it permanently straightened, but you need to get your hair tested because in some cases your hair will result in falling out.

You can always use straightners but its fiddly and obviously needs to be done daily - if you can perform this art and only want straight hair temperary or now and then, then this may be the solution.
If you want something permanent, visit your local hairdresser; they will suggest a 'straight perm' or relaxer (if afro/carribean hair).

Straighten it using a good hair straightner but use heat defence spray which makes it silky, straight and gorgeous (tresemme heat defence styling spray or l`oreal is the best!)

Buy a ghd hair straightener - these things are brilliant at straightening hair and keeping it straight for a long time. It takes no time at all and works wonders.
I bought mine from http://www.salonlines.co.uk/ghd-hair-straighteners/ and can whole heartedly recommend them.

Straighten it with a ceramic hair straightener
Make sure you use a shampoo conditioner and a detangling spray that's heat activated so your hair won't end up dry/damaged,

you probably won't like this answer, but a salon can do it for you, if you keep using straighteners you can over process your hair and damage it, better to let a professional do it, a lot of salons have training nights and need models, they are very very closely monitored and a fraction of the cost
Please to have answered your question for you and the best of luck, in my salon I get to see a lot of home hair distasters
