That's really sad if you think of Christians like that.
Unfortunately, that's sometimes true.
Not everyone who claims to be a "Christian" really lives by what they say they believe.
BUT we say that non-believers are immoral if they are living immorally.
Sin is sin, and the truth is the truth. I believe in absolutes.
And there *are* decent people who aren't Christians.
Hypocrisy is just inexcusable.
(Whatever happened to the Ten Commandments?)
God *can* (and will) forgive us if we mess up, but that fact is not to be taken for granted! If they sin and don't follow God anymore, then they've turned their backs on Him. I'd say that they're not a Christian anymore.
Don't let a few people discourage you... not all of us Christians are like that.

Well I am a Christian and our belief system does state that we get away with anything. We are disciplined (so to speak) by the Holy Spirit, but are also forgiven if we repent and strive for something better. But that's because of Jesus's grace and love for us, we have nothing to do with it. But as far as the immorality goes, "most" Christians dont feel that way, and we're taught not to judge. And of course you Christians who have sex, swear, drink, etc. Thats because becoming a Christian does make you perfect, it helps you receive forgiveness for those actions through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. And becoming more like Christ is a life-long accomplishment. Hope this helps...God Bless!

You make a good point. Those Christians are battling with unbelief. I think most Christians think non-believers are committing sin because God has declared unbelief to be a sin. Here's just one example:
"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." (John 3:18-21).
God helps us recognize the truth. Anyone anywhere who has ever heard of Jesus Christ is accountable for what he does with that knowledge. If he hardens his heart in unbelief he will pay the consequences for that unbelief. If he believes, then he will reap the benefits of believing; the ultimate benefit being eternal life.

True. The only thing Christians have that nonbelievers don't is God. When Christians sin, they can confess to God and make restitution, suffer the punishment, and be counted righteous again.
My religion doesn't forgive me. God forgives me, and that is what counts. You on the other hand do not have God, and are therefore unclean to enter the Kingdom of God. You are on R&S, so by now you know The Way from reading answers like the ones I have been giving, but you won't take it.
That is the difference between Christians like me and nonbelievers like you. You can have forgiveness and benefit from God's grace, but you don't want it. I do not know why and do not pretend to understand, but I will have everlasting life, and you will not unless you believe.
You have the rest of your life to get on board, but that is it.

In Matthew 7:11 Jesus mentioned "in case then you definitely being evil..." the verse assumes that being evil is a ingredient of our nature as human beings. Believers and non-believers all have an identical means for evil. i think of it incredibly is gloomy whilst Christians slander non-believers as though they have been extra useful or extra advantageous. The bible for sure tells us to slander no person and to be gentle and considerate to all. Many Christians have self belief interior the finished depravity of guy. This concept isn't limited to unbelievers yet to believers besides. regrettably, believers can strengthen a feeling of satisfaction of their morality. This satisfaction could lead on them to look down on others and unquestionably slander them. This slander is a sin. So, i think of Christians try this simply by fact it incredibly is a doctrine of the bible, yet additionally satisfaction motives slander, which isn't meant or the final option.

Christians are notorious for pointing the finger at other religions or any one who is decidedly different in their spiritual views. Many are self indulgent, selfish, self centered righteous morons. I have heard of Christians going to church on Saturday so they can raise hell Saturday night and sleep late Sunday so as to avoid rising early and going to church with self inflicted wounds. I always thought that being Christian was forgiving those who have sinned; however you will always have a percentage of those who feel being a "Christian" gives them license to judge others motives...right or wrong; fair or unfair, justified or not.

Why do we think girls who are not "girly" are weird? It's a social way of thinking that enforces the norm. Christians have been reading and taught that people need to believe and act certain way. And since non-believers tend to not believe in what they believe. They are justified as immortals.

It's true that many Christians are not living a moral life like they should. But they are not following the Bible.

People are egotistic and tend to believe that their way is the right way. I agree with you though in the fact that a lot of Christians are very hypocritical and think that they can be forgiven at any time. To me, it's just a way to kill the guilt for doing something they know was wrong.
