Senior or just gray hair like me always time to enjoy a car that gets! it! But please set your aim higher 2006 or 2007 Corvette, Ford GT, Porsche Caymen, And many other fun to drive cars that will have warranty and run circles around a 1969 351 cid 4 speed Mustang Hatch back. No 4 wheel disk brakes air bags steel guard beam doors. And what is that a carburetor under the hood. It might as well be a dinosaur most of the old points and condencer guys have died off except me. And I think fuel injection is better.

Speed is money how fast do yo want to go? If you don't want to spend quality time getting to know your car under the hood might as well ditch the '69 'Stang and buy an '07. But if yo wish to get intimate with your ride and know all the wonders that is has to offer stick with the '69. Your choice and as for the points and condensers well now as far as I know that can all be upgraded with MSD, Mallory, or pertronix part. But as for me I prefer ol' skool dual point set ups like I have in my '41 merc coupe.

you have a nice car there and you can make it as fast as your pocket book allows, if you have the money a new Z06 corvette won't stand a chance with that old carburated car, I just watched Barrett-Jackson auction the other night and a 69 mustang boss 429 with 7,000 origional miles on it went for $550,000.
