Sorry Shlane gotta tell you you are not a Catholic girl. You are a cave in to the World girl. How could one partake of the Body of Christ when he says "This is my Body that will be given up for you", and we are sinners, and then you turn around and say it is perfectly alright for people to kill unborn innocent children because they don't want to give up their bodies for them.

Many churches have certain boards of elders that want their input. I am Pentecostal, and the Holy Ghost directs services at our church. My pastor is very devout, and will never cave in to worldly things. Before I started there, our church was an "Assemblies of God" church. When they started to bring the world into the church, such as pool tables, black lights, etc. for the youth, in trying to bring in more people, my pastor refused, until they tried to force him. He maintained that you do not change lives by bringing the world into the church, and it was out of the question. So now we are a Pentecostal church.

I don't agree with the Church being a democracy.

a Church is a democracy, you have the right to be or not to be a priest. and there will never be a majority rule within humans when it comes to religion, besides you assign specific areas to people who specializes. God specializes in humantiy so it's his rule

No, no *smile*...that is what is called "the world". Christians are called to be in....but not of.....the world.
