What a great theme! I would fill a baby pool with a few inches of water, toy boats, and toy sharks. That will keep the kids in one place instead of running away to the rest of the park. (Maybe you can even have some adult conversation if that pool is anything like the train table at the book store!) Kids can also play with huge, blow-up beach balls. Since park benches are dangerous for 2 year-olds, serve snacks on colorful beach towels. For party favors, I would go with sunglasses, sun visors, and flower lais (sp?). Take a picture of each kid in their "sun gear" and send a copy of the picture with your thank-you notes.
You may want to warn parents of the water at the party, or bring some extra shirts and shorts that you can loan out. Wet kids in car seats are soooo grouchy. Have fun at the party.

You must have party bags for the kids. What I did for the party bags was a bag of cheetos, gronola bar ( chocolate chip ), capris sun, picked out little toys for the kids for party store, some lollipops, fruit snacks instead of candy. Activity I did a pinata, had a little basketball court and they threw the ball in there and a lego block game who could be a castle. They all one something of course but they enjoyed it a whole lot.

That topic seems a splash previous on your son. He could like enjoying guitar, yet wouldn't have the slightest clue what a "rockstar" is ... He'd in all probability be happier with a Thomas the prepare or truck topic .... Pizzas are in basic terms fantastic for each guy or woman, with vegetable/dip and fruit platters. i think of Michael's includes pinatas, or any occasion save ...... circulate to a greenback save for favors (try greenback Tree)

you could have a fish thing. Its were you put them in a tub of water and the kids try to get with a fisting pole. Or you put # on them and them pick one and the higher the # the bigger the prize. Well thats not so good but you could have a bubble machine they luv bubbles

Sidewalk chalk or fingerpaints are good, a couple of beach balls ,they can paint seashells too and an old shirt for a smock is cheap and keeps em' clean(as much as can be expected).

Definitely have bubbles! My two year old loves bubbles, but I think they are great for any young age, especially when the bubbles are non-toxic.Also try the hokie-pokie dance they might not be able to follow directions, but the dancing part is fun for them and funny for us.

Put a few cardboard boxes out...they'll love playing in them and won't really care much for anything else!
