Don't you feel even a little hypocritical when saying "Jesus is love" when Jesus bashed babies heads on rocks, condoned rape, torture, murder, genocide, and even caused women to have unwilling abortions?
Where's the love??

A convenient misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the Old Testament! JESUS NEVER did anyhting like that. It helps to read the context and understand the background for the things you described! There was a reason. The enemies of GOD's people needed to be eliminated because they would eventually come back and destroy GOD's people in a few generations.
More can be said.
GOD bless

Jesus never said he was God he said "My Father is greater than I." and "Father, why have you forsaken me." Proof he is not God. IT is his less intelligent followers who proclaim that, not Jesus. He didn't even die on the Cross for their sins. Jesus said who ever believes in me will be saved. That means who ever follows his teachings will be saved. He said "Go and sin no more." Never did he say he died for our sins, that is a man made idea, so they can do any dam thing they want then go to heaven. Jesus was a great soul. He should be respected in all aspects. Don't blame him or God for his rascal followers misinterpretations and misbehavior. For the original new testament before King Constantine changed it at the council of nicea in 324 AD. google gospelofthenazirenes.com Has historical documentation of its authenticity. The Truth will set you free. Peace to you.

How many times do we have to explain this? The world was totally different back then. Killing was a way of life. Men were considered great that conquered other peoples and killed and destroyed them and women were considered possession only. That was how early man thought and God dealt with them on their level. You don't expect a child to act like a grown up. You let him grow and teach him alittle at a time. And when man got to the point of growth to be able to understand that we need to be civilized and not behave like that, it was not acceptable to be that way any more.

the unique Christians knew the adaptation between God and the Lord. web site one among Genesis has 2 creations. the 1st one via God wherein the universe and stars and planets etc have been created. fairly lots feels like the great bang. the 2nd introduction is via the Lord who creates the "international". to no longer be puzzled with the planet. the international is the society of adult males all of us stay in. in addition they suggested that God is loving and forgiving while the lord is jealous (of who?) and vengeful. To any emotionally mature person those are obtrusive opposites. that's why the 1st Christians referred to as the lord "devil".

You have twisted and misinterpreted the events of the old testament, and I rather suspect you got most of your flawed information from the Skeptics Annotated Bible.
If that is not the case, spell out your questions one at a time, and I will do my level best to give you a decent answer.

No sir--I did not live at that time--You are confusing men's act--with God desire for mankind--Your logic is based on your thoughts--your thought are based on your beliefs--beliefs are what you think and feel--not necessarily truth. When you read and interpret you are adding your thoughts based on judgment not on analyzing the total history of the given situation. This is what you accuse Christians of doing. If you argue for one(yours), but against mine truth is lacking in both argument according to you.

Why don't you pat yourself on the back. You've freed yourself from Jesus. I on the other hand choose to remain a slave.
