Okay so if you are a Christian that believes that there is life outside of our galaxy, which I do, here's my question.

If Jesus died for OUR sins, do you think that it's possible that he went to other galaxies in other forms and died for their sins also? I think that when we go to heaven there won't be just humans there.

So what do you think about that?

It's a possibility...but we won't know until we get there, and don't really need to know. I'm a Christian, and I definitely think there could be other forms of life out there. Maybe "they" didn't ever sin and need a redeemer like we did...maybe they've advanced more than we have because of that...but we'll know someday.

Though I'm not ruling out life on other planets, I think there is verse in the old testament which says something on the order about what is earth special that God chose to only visit it or something like that which implied that he did not include other planets. There is nothing in scripture to support salvation for other beings - even angels aren't included in the plan of salvation - they just shake their heads in awe. If he does have a plan for other beings, he may have a special heaven for them. But for some reason, he did not inspire any of the bible writers to tell us anything about anyone else so we can only speculate at best. Besides being a Christian, I'm also a kind of trekkie and loved Babylon 5 as I loved the notion of people of all kinds of shapes, looks, etc co-existingand looked at without prejudice - my idea of a perfect world. As far as heaven goes, I think our pets will be there though I couldn't give you a verse for that.

Interesting question. Since I don't buy the sacrificial lamb story myself, I may not be qualified to answer this one. But I do have an interesting suggestion: read The Perlandra series by C. S. Lewis. Three books -- "Perlandra", "Out of the Silent Planet", and "That Hideous Strength" -- which offer a science-fiction look at your question which is actually quite intriguing.

It's always possible, but it is a moot point. We have to worry about here, on our world. We cannot be responsible for those from other worlds when we will probably never meet them. By the by, I also think that there might be life out there.

I don't know how to answer your question, because I' m not Jesus, but it's real easy for people to say, that UFOs have landed on earth, than to say Jesus came and will return.
