All of Canada uses the Canadian Dollar. Most places, especially those near the Canada / U.S. border, will also accept U.S. dollars, but exchange rates may vary or be unfavorable.
Bills are commonly available in $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 dollar. The $1 and $2 bills have been replaced with coins (the loonie and the twoonie). They also use the nickel, dime, quarter and penny

Seriously?? In all of Canada there is the same currancy. the change is almost identical up to the one dollar coin, so hopefully you can tell the difference between them. The loonie, or one dollar coin, is gold. The toonie, or two dollar coin, is silver with a gold center. the rest of the money may be mulitcolored but they say how much they are worth on them.
Good luck if you ever go there. Seriously.

It is called dollar and cents here too. the small change is interchangeable with yours...penny, dime, nickle, quarter are the same size and accepted exactly the same...the real difference is we dont have a dollar bill...we have a dollar coin which we affectionatley call a loonie....and we have a two-dollar coin which we call a toonie. then the money is different in that our has colours....$5.00 - blue, $10.00 is purple, $20.00 is green.$50 is red and $100 is brown.
