This highlights a flaw in the teleological argument. Theists complain that anything at all complex requires a more complex creator (they are wrong on this), but then they argue for a special pleading so that they don't require a creator for something as complex as their God.

the biblical god was created by a group of hebrew clerics and so therefore could not have created the world...yes there were other gods created by other cultures before him...the writers of the bible make no mention of what god would have been doing before he created the world, i imagine it would have been pretty boring though...since he is his own son (according to christian mythology), then yes he would have been with himself in the beginning...

That is a complex question. I grew up in a strongly religious Christian household, and I vividly remember sitting at my desk in first grade pondering this very question. That was the beginning of my disillusion with religion. Look - if it's something that grown adults don't question but an innocent first grader has serious questions and doubts about...then it's all probably a bunch of bulls**t.

Exodus 3:13 Â And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 Â And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
"I AM THAT I AM" indicates that HE always existed.
Genesis 1:26 Â And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
"Let us make ..." clearly indicates multiple persons, one GOD.
GOD bless
