Do you think the rule that if you are not a Christian you will burn in Hell forever when you die is fair?
Do you think Hindus deserve to burn in Hell forever along with murders simply because they believe in the wrong version of God?
Most Christians here not only believe this, but act like it is perfectly fair. Not all Christians do, but a good deal act like this is fair.
Do this make you kind of mad and frustrated at them for being so blind to something that is obviously not fair? If this was a brand new rule, if the pope came up with this rule last week, most people would be against it. Yet, because it's been around for two thousand years, people accept it.
Does it give you a headache to think about how blind Christians can be to such a messed up rule?

atheists don't believe in hell so this question is moot.

christians are the blindest people I know.I am a christian myself but I do not believe every word of the bible since it was written by common people who are giving their interpretation of what gods word is and stories seem to get exagerated as they are passed down from generation to generation.
I believe that if a hindu,or a muslim or whatever they might be,lives their life according to the rules and believes in a supreme power, then god will not send them to hell.I believe that this is why the bible says that those who had not been saved will be given the chance in the end to admit their faults and make a choice.I do not believe that god sends good souls to hell for any reason.I also believe that god reincarnates the soul because sometimes we do not accomplish what we are put on earth to do.Hard core christians will bash me for this but I believe that being open and more understanding makes me a better person then they are anyway.Preachy people are a real turn off to me.I have no respect for anyone who tells others how they should think and what they should believe and tell them that they are going to hell for not seeing it that way.

Well first of all I don't believe in Hell so doesn't matter if people say I'm going there. The only thing that gets to me is that their are so many blind Christians that do not question anything the bible or paster says They just believe it completely with no question basically what they say is almost everyone is going to hell if you read the bible there are so many ways to go to hell it's not funny. I don't really think to much about what they believe unless they preach to me then I get mad.

The question of hell doesn't concern me, because I don't believe in it. It doesn't make me mad, frustrated or give me a headache. What does do those things is the fact that Christians are trying to make this a Christian nation. The word "God" is on the money, George Bush went to war, partially because of his religion, and some Christians are trying to get creationism taught as science in the public schools. These are the things that really bother me.

Hell does not exist. So it doesn't matter if it's fair.
Hell does not exist, so Hindus will not burn.
The fact that Christians and other religions believe in an afterlife, doesn't make it true. I don't believe in an afterlife. What makes you think that atheists believe in god, heaven, hell or an afterlife? We do not. Look up atheist.

Most people believe as long as they're going to Heaven, it's fair. I think that if God wants a relationship with us, he should make more of an effort. In fact, he should know exactly what to do.

Yes, it gives me a headache. But also a sense of relief that I'm not a complete idiot who has huge, gaping flaws in my logical thought process. I believe in pathos directing our actions sometimes but I don't see any sense in "talking" to people or gods that aren't there and will never answer back.

Well, the whole non-Christians going to hell thing is one of the reasons people dislike the religion. It is ridiculously unfair and silly in my opinion.

i do not believe there is a hell, and even if there was a hell, i do not think atheists will burn in it. i mean, if god made people who didn't believe him burn in hell, what kind of a message would that be? it would be like dictatorship. god is supposed to be kind and whatever.

Justice is certainly not infinite punishment (hell) for our finite sins on earth. Punishment doesn't match the crime. It'd be infinitely worse than shooting someone on sight for a little white lie or jaywalking.

Indeed the idea of Hell is a detestable thing and it's sickening that people think it's justice but we can't change their minds so there's no reason to worry about it.
