I'm assuming when he asks, you will accept; otherwise you don't need to get ready!
It depends to some extent on what you will be doing.
Generally, dress and get made up so you look attractive, but not slutty. Make certian your breath doesn't reek! Put on a modest amount of some nice perfume, but don't douse yourself with it! You don't need to make any major change in your appearance or hairstyle; (he thinks you are attractive enough already, or he wouldn't have asked you out!)
One last thing, in case things get out of hand; don't forget your pepper spray!
