I have been celibate for two and half years now. i am (false modesty aside!) considered to be very attractive and alot of people think I am "wasting" my looks or that I am gay and in denial. (which I am not!) how can I make people see this is who I am?

yes celibacy is a choice. it can be good since it gives you a chance to understanding yourself and others without the pressure of sex.

you can try to explain why you are celibate. however no matter how hard you try, sometimes ppl already have a preconception about you without ever really trying to understand.

beside why does it matter? the only thing that matter is if it is the right choice for you. ppl close to you will understand and or support your choice.

So you are a very attractive celibate? I think thats grammatically correct...haha. Who the hell cares what others think? It's up to you whether you are sexually active or not.

It's tough, I know. I just stick to my morals no matter what people say. Eventually, they've come to admire me for it. I really can't tell you any specific words to say, just hang in there!
