What are you asking? Which religion is the least rational or which religion is at least a little rational?
Among the great faiths, each has its share of devotees, intellectuals and mystics. You can make a faith as "rational" and logically sophisticated as you like, but there is always a small disconnect, a tiny, unverifiable assumption in the structure that can only be bridged by faith. Once you've crossed that gap, you can build palaces of rationality, as the medieval scholastics did in Christianity. You can even incorporate genuine science into your studies, much as the Jesuits did, running close and parallel, but never quite touching the faith-powered logic structures.
And it's not just Christians. Jews have their yeshivas. Hindus have their Vedic scholars. Muslims and Buddhists each argue and dispute the fine points of their metaphysics among themselves, all rationally and logically. They just don't acknowledge that tiny little gap.
The better religions relate their findings to their relationships with and obligations toward other fellow humans. The worst either demonize outsiders or withdraw into a defensive circle. You can arrive at any of these postures with or without logic. This just points out the perils of untested assumptions. Unless every premise is verified, all conclusions are unverified, even the good ones.

Buddhism. Buddhists are taught to use knowledge, common sense, and logic when searching for truths. If favors knowledge and wisdom over simple faith. I actually think that it has more than a little rationality.

Well, Buddhism, I guess... but in response to your plea, one can never consider *any* of the skydaddy religions even remotely 'rational'.

i replaced into born right into a Catholic kinfolk. there have been a great number of rules and traditions that made no sense to me. ultimately - while i replaced into approximately 17 - it have been given to the element the place i did no longer decide to circulate alongside with any of it from now on. I nevertheless wasn't effective if there replaced right into a God or no longer - so I claimed to be an Agnostic - and walked around feeling tremendously offended on the Catholic church for extra or less 25 year or so. Now - i've got been a non secular Scientist for 7 years. it is extremely extra of a philosophy than a faith - yet we do meet on Sunday mornings and there's a minister and a church. (they call it a "center" - even regardless of the undeniable fact that it seems and sounds like a church to me) We have faith that there is one God that works in and with the aid of all issues. the character of God is love. it is tremendously common. we don't have faith in hell. the religion believes in heaven - yet i'm no longer so effective - and that they do no longer shun me or kick me out of the church or something when I state that - they simply settle for my theory. it is difficulty-free to have faith in LOVE. God is love. I see love all around me each of the time - so there is extremely no faith in touch in that regard - different than believing that love is a potential - an greater potential - and not in basic terms a chemical reaction interior the suggestions (it is what proportion Atheists will clarify love). faith is attainable in here.... i think that each little thing is accurately in any respect situations. each little thing happens for a reason. while undesirable stuff happens - I settle for it as area of a "larger plan" - that possibly i won't - in my human kind - comprehend. That faith could look "goofy" to a pair human beings - yet to me it extremely is a convenience. it is a few thing to lean on while "undesirable" issues ensue - like maximum cancers - or automobile injuries - or earthquakes. because of the fact accepting this faith - i've got been a extra non violent, loving, accpeting guy or woman. i don't comprehend that i could desire to have a faith. I have been given alongside ok for extra or less 25 years without one. yet I effective sense extra desirable having a faith. desire that facilitates clarify issues to you. in case you go with to chat extra desirable - in basic terms email me. Namaste!
